We have stayed at many rentals, and this is the most welcoming and well-stocked house yet. There are so many special touches included by the hosts. The location is unbeatable for a downtown or Farmers Market stroll. Wonderful!

We stayed here so my daughter could attend Camp Deer Run. LOVED the proximity to Main Street / The Bowery. The cottage is so cute and worked perfectly for three adults and my young daughter. Hosts were wonderful and super accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

We were impressed from the moment we opened the door! It had everything we needed and then some. It was within walking distance of "downtown" Winnsboro. with shops to explore and some really good restaurants. We hated to leave and hope to go back sometime soon.

Adorable property in a great location!

This is my hometown and we needed a place to stay for a weekend visit. I was so happy to find this renovated cottage in walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops! It was clean & extremely well equipped. The front and back porches were fantastic in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely stay there again!

I visit family in Winnsboro a few times a year and will not stay anywhere but this house. I travel across the US and this house ranks in the top 2 of accommodations I have stayed in. The owner has paid so much attention to detail in the amenities and provisions. Perfect stay.

This was our second stay at Carnegie Cottage and we loved it as much as we did the first time. The location can't be beat.... right in town. You can easily walk to shopping and restaurants in a matter of minutes. Everything in the cottage was incredibly clean and comfortable.

The cottage is clean and well decorated. Love all the colorful accents and support for the artist community. Is located in the heart of Winnsboro. The close proximity to active train tracks is the only disappointment we had.

Super cute cottage.....exceeded expectations! You won't be disappointed!

This was the cutest little cottage. The owners thought of everything. The decor was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this cute spot located close to the square. It was great waking up and having coffee on the front porch while watching the town come alive. We will be back!

I rented this cottage for my aunt and uncle who flew in from Nebraska, they absolutely loved it, talked about it all weekend and how much they enjoyed staying there. So comfortable and so much like home. My mom,sister and I went to the cottage and spent time with them there, and we really loved it as well. Thank you so much for the great hospitality! We spent two nights in the cottage and enjoyed every minute of it. Loved sitting on the back porch in the morning with coffee. Sleeping late undisturbed and ready to spend the day enjoying downtown Winnsboro. The town is definitely a must see; the locals are obviously proud of their home and committed to expanding the arts community. The restaurants were great; had breakfast, lunch and dinner in 3 separate places and food was very good and reasonably priced. We will definitely plan another visit to Winnsboro and the Carnegie Cottage!

Charming and well-provisioned

As a former innkeeper, I appreciate properties where the owner has taken the time to understand what their guests value in a rental property. This one ticks all the boxes. The property is perfectly located in downtown Winnsboro within walking distance of the farmers market, restaurants and the Bowery arts district. The home has been lovingly restored with all of the modern ammenities one would expect. It's clean and well decorated, with art from local artists on every wall. The 12' ceilings create a spacious feel in every room. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, dishes and cookware for complete meal prep. Comfortable beds with quality linens complete the look. I highly recommend it for 4 or fewer guests.

The Doll House

We cannot say enough great things about our long weekend at the Carnegie house. The hosts have thought of everything you could potentially need from extra household supplies to different pillow options. Each of the rooms is beautifully decorated and comfortable to hangout in and all the walls are covered in art from local artisans. When you go back into a room you are bound to see something new. Each of the bedrooms has ear plugs for the occasional train noise (or a person that snores in your group) and also iphone charges plugged into the nightstands. There is a "Welcome Book" that guides you through different activities around Winnsboro and it's a great resource. The farmers market is directly across the street on Saturday morning so it's great to walk outside and pick up fresh produce for the weekend. We cannot wait to go back and stay again.
