Great location Not too far away from south beach. There was plenty of appliances, utensils and dishes so it was great not to worry about those things and the hot tub was easy to operate!

Amazing Location!

We absolutely loved being walking distance from the beach and the restaurants on the main road. Nan was so helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. It was also close to a beautiful walking trail beside a creek that was perfect for my dog. Overall it was a perfect place to unwind for a few days.

This cottage was exactly what we needed! Loved the large sunroom and hottub. Very clean and cozy. There were even fresh baked cookies waiting for us on arrival. Would stay again!

Cozy and close to the beach

Very nice little cottage, it has everything you need, and the sunroom is fun to hang out at. Everything was clean, literally 5 minutes walk to the beach. Nan was easy to communicate with, and responded to everything quickly. We had a great stay, would come back again.

A lovely cabin in the woods

We spent a weekend in this perfect little cabin. It was spotless and has everything you need in terms of amenities and comfort. The location is ideal-walking distance to the beach and town. Owners were attentive and respectful of privacy. A little gem!

weekend getaway

Pleasantly surprised with how quaint the cottage was. Very quiet and serene setting, a stones throw from the beach and walking distance to shops, coffee houses and restaurants. Truly a very relaxing time, 2 days was not enough and we would happily come back for another stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for dining in, the cottage was very clean and tidy and the host was very helpful with any questions we had. The only misfortune was that the tv remote didn't work so we couldn't watch a family movie one evening when it was raining, but that was a blessing in disguise as it was far better to read, go for long strolls, and enjoy each others company. Would highly recommend friends and family to stay here.

Great place to relax

This is a cute place. When we pulled up it was very tiny, but once we entered, there was lots of space. Absolutely loved the sunroom with comfortable furniture. The ad states you could sleep up to 5, but unless you like to be cozy, it would be tight. This place was well stocked with lots of kitchen supplies for your use. The coffee maker needs an update as the second morning, we had to restart it a couple of times. Lots of extra towels to be used as well. We connected with owner before hand about linens for common room bed, which there were but no top blanket provided(duvet, comforter, quilt), Did not connect with owner about this, as we made due. Great location, and very quiet, but very close to neighbours. Love how close to the beach and the main strip you are. Owners were lovely and easy to connect with.

Truly divine!

Everything is as depicted, owners of the property are helpful and friendly. Extremely accommodating, clean, cozy. The kitchen fully equipped with appliances, utensils and all cooking pots/pans, dishes, etc. The bedrooms are airy and comfortable, living room very cozy with electric fire place and smart tv. Sunroom is spacious and is perfect for eating or simply relax. Shed equipped with some floats and beach chairs, hot tub is a great bonus-literally everything you need. The beach is out of this world, not to mention the sunset and the Port that is literally minutes away by walk. Grand Bend strip is a 10 min walk and such a joyful and liberating experience. Loved it, this place is divine and if it finds you, this is it! I can say so much more, but I'd rather someone else continue. I will end by saying that the angel above the outdoor shower and the sun and all the wall decor was a special touch. I really connected with this space both indoor and out (the trees, birds, bunnies, and even grasshoppers) and I hope others will have the pleasure of experiencing the same! Thanks for this amazing experience, I can't wait to return!

Cute, quiet, clean, and conveniently located, but not as secluded as expected

Pros: Spotlessly clean, No concerns about safety or unwanted critters, Comfortable bed, Generous permission to use some of their firewood in their firepit (helped keep the mosquitoes to a minimum), About a city block to the beach, beach towels provided, beach chairs in shed, Beach is clean and wasn't overly crowded (weekday), 15-20 min walk to the main drag (on the other side of water so need to go around), Quick response time from host regarding issues. Unexpected early check-in. Cons: *Not as secluded as expected - the backs of several properties look down on this one as it's situated slightly lower. *dead end street but decent foot traffic - folks kept asking my spouse if he was okay when he was lying around trying to get some sun so it just felt like there wasn't any privacy. *Many windows don't have furnishings, including bathroom,*Bathroom is tiny, so you can't get changed in there, which means walking through the building with all those windows. *If you aren't a small person you may have issues getting in to the shower with the bathroom door closed. *Bedrooms are small - before I realized one of the neighbors windows could see in to the bedroom I may have given them a post-shower show...oops, *Hot tub was very foamy - host came over to check PH (again - great response time) it was still super foamy if turned up so I eventually just gave up. Overall a nice clean spot, convenient location, accommodating responsive host, but not what we expected for seclusion.
