About this property

Gorgeous Pacific beaches, lake swimming, shopping and great dining all within 10 minutes. The house is large and tastefully decorated with a fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen, private en suite with soaker bathtub, separate dining area, multiple comfortable living areas, grand piano, family room with home theatre, and so much more!

Enjoy a day at one of the many close by Pacific beaches, swimming at a warm lake, or hiking one of the beautiful trails, all within minutes of home. Prefer shopping or fine dining? You'll find all of that too! Explore Downtown Victoria or wander the world famous Butchart Gardens, both within a 15 minute drive. We are within a 2 minute walk to all amenities, including a recreation centre with an Olympic sized swimming pool.

The house is large and tastefully decorated with a fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen. There's a custom island, gas stove, and windows, making the room bright, inviting, and enjoyable to cook in. We have a drip coffee maker, single pod maker, and a French press. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck where you will often see wild bunnies in the yard. The top level includes the master bedroom with a private en suite and soaker bathtub, two more bedrooms, and full bathroom. On the main level you'll find a separate dining area, multiple comfortable living areas, grand piano, full bathroom with shower, and access to the deck and backyard. Downstairs are two more bedrooms, recreation room including ping pong, foosball, air hockey/pool table, dartboard, and 65 inch TV with surround sound and video games. There's also another full bathroom. After a day of exploring, relax in the beautiful, garden like backyard for some food or a game of bocce ball while the little ones play on the trampoline.

We are 4 hours from world class surfing in beautiful Tofino, BC, and 3.5 hours from Mt. Washington Alpine Resort. We both grew up here in Victoria and would love to provide you with a list of our favourite beaches, restaurants, and activities!

House next to freeway

The house was very clean, well equipped with everything in the kitchen and has a nice basement for the kids/teenagers to hang out and play. The reasons I'm rating it 3 stars is because the house gets super warm, when we 1st arrived it must've been about 75° inside. We started opening the windows, doors and looking for fans, I had forgotten this house had no AC. None of the windows or sliding doors except for 2 in the upstairs kid's bedrooms had screens, so we had bees, flies and other insects getting inside the house. There are also no blinds or curtains in the livingroom/dining area. You will have no room in the closets to hang your stuff because all of their clothes are there. The house is literally right next to the freeway, and if you're not used to any noise at night, you will not rest well. There were 4 what looked to be Cameras?... 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs whether or not they were connected, I don't know, but it made us feel uncomfortable. You can't have multiple people shower at the same time or else one or the other gets cold water. If you wanna watch Netflix you gotta use the Xbox in the livingroom. There's an apple tv but not much to watch. The internet was very flaky but luckily my cellphone provider doesn't charge me for roaming so I was able to use my data. However my sister was charged $120 for roaming for 3 days we were there. The guest book mentioned something about a cat being there sometimes...I don't recall reading about that when I booked the house.
