The good news is that Zone 21 is extremely close, just a short walk away (around 4 minutes). Zone 21 starts where The Prince of Whales pub is located right at the corner of Fitzroy St and Acland street.
We recommend that you first drop off your luggage at the Loft, and then park your car in Zone 21, we will send you a detailed location before you check in.
🚫 IMPORTANT: Unless you pay for a time parking ticket, do not leave your car parked on Park Street, as fines are strictly enforced,
The parking permit can be found on the sideboard to the right as you enter. Please ensure it is clearly displayed on your dashboard whenever your car is parked, and kindly return it to the same spot before check-out.
As the permit is costly to replace, we’d really appreciate your care with it. At check-out, please send us a quick photo of the permit back in its place. If it is not returned, a $300 replacement fee will apply.

What an amazing little find. You can stay in a bland hotel if you like but this place is a true home away from home. Beautiful fire place, eclectic art collection and the location is perfection.
Absolutely brilliant! The Loft l can only describe as an experience that should not be missed
Everything in this beautiful Apt is all class like the owners l briefly met All the great pubs and restaurants and beach to walk my dog is in walking distance making it very easy to love the area I often stay in beautiful places when away this is 5 stars all the way !!
We stayed in this beautiful loft for our anniversary weekend and it was perfect!
It was clean, cozy, welcoming and romantic.
Everything was so close and the tram was pretty much out the front. Secure parking and a PIN code for the door eliminated any stress about loosing keys at the beach. Great communication, very informative, kind, helpful and marco was just a text message away if we had any questions. A weekend was not enough time to stay in this beautiful apartment. Thanks for having us, We would definitely stay here again

Very well located with off street parking and tram virtually across the road
The loft was so homely and just lovely to arrive home to at the end of the day
If anything negative it is the lack of natural light as only a small window at the front but heaps of lamps supplied which added to the ambience at night
We were out all day so this did not bother us
My adult daughter and I had lovely walks along St Kilda foreshore , morning coffees , and restaurants galour , all very close by
Paul the owner even phoned me when I had a booking query
Which was appreciated
Would highly recommend and would stay again
I really deserved to stay in this elegant loft and it was certainly a treat. I visited Melbourne to visit Heide and NGV so the artworks and elegant artistry of the apartment was an added bonus. Gorgeous tree lined street a block from a lovely local cafe and the parklands and beach or walk a few steps the other way and hop on a tram. And so easy for Mo the puppy who enjoyed easy access outside for his wee walks and was a perfectly good boy the entire time. And I found a doggy day carer just around the corner. Definitely recommended.

Hi Jane,
thank you so much for being such a wonderful guest!
we really hope to see youb if youre ever down our way again.
We loved staying in this location. Really convenient for the beach and trams that took us directly into the CBD Melbourne. The Saturday Parkrun was from the park that ran on the street that ran parallel to the loft. - really convenient although the start line was at the far opposite end of the park. It had everything we needed but we only prepped some breakfasts and did no other cooking. There was a very good laundry room across the car park of the complex. Easy to use and pay for by scanning the QRcodes on the machines - you will need to take your own detergents. 2 things to mention. 1 It is just a little tired and some attention to the bathroom and kitchen is needed but was perfectly clean enough. The bedding sheets, while clean, were very creased. I think they grade been left is a dryer abs were in need of an iron. The bed was very comfortable but the feeling of the sheets was disappointing.
Came to St. Kilda for a triathlon and to be a tourist in Melbourne, generally. I picked this place because of its immediate proximity to the race.
But I would stay there if there were no race and I were not actually needing to be in St. Kilda.
The place is well furnished and feels bigger than its listed size. The high ceilings downstairs were a welcome relief from typical cramped accommodations. Bedroom ceiling is low which is a nature of loft style apartments. But you're on your back up there. Full kitchen came well equipped, and it turned out I bought more than I needed at the grocery store because they already had essentials.
Shower is intensely hot, which I appreciate.
The neighbors were silent.
Place is on two different tram lines - like immediately in front of one of them and just around the corner from the other, making it very easy to get into Melbourne and beyond.
Walking distance to the beach and I don't mean any long walk. We're talking about crossing two streets. An abundance of good restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate vicinity. Easy walk to the sea baths. And surprisingly close to Luna Park.
This triathlete loved it because I was a few pedal strokes away from the 70.3 bike and run course.
Dealing with the owners was the easiest such communication I've ever had.
Again - I would stay there again without hesitation. And I hope to.

I love being a host because it allows me to create a warm, welcoming space where people can feel at home, even when they’re far away. It’s not just about offering a place to stay—it’s about sharing an experience, helping guests enjoy their trip, and knowing I’ve made their time a little more special and comfortable. I genuinely enjoy the connection and the small details that make a difference.
Why they chose this property
I chose St Kilda because it has a unique energy that’s hard to find anywhere else—right by the beach, full of life, yet still relaxed and easygoing. It’s a place where you can start your day with a walk along the water, enjoy great cafés, and still be just a short trip from the city. For me, it truly represents the best of Melbourne living, and I love being able to share that with my guests.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property special is the feeling it offers, it’s not just a place to stay, but a space to relax, feel at home, and enjoy your time in comfort. I’ve put a lot of care into the details, from the way it’s set up to the little touches that make your stay easier and more enjoyable. It’s designed to be both welcoming and practical, whether you’re here for a short visit or a longer stay. I truly hope you feel that warmth the moment you walk in.
