Pure bliss. There’s charm and character everywhere you look. The cabin is incredible. Very cosy and comfortable. The weather was not our friend( it drizzled almost non stop from Friday night until very early Monday morning) but it was still one of our best stays away ever. Kim and Peter provided everything we needed. We were very disappointed we couldn’t get to the outdoor heated bath but it’s a great excuse to go back. Highly recommend.

Thanks for staying and yes the weather was dismal but oh boy we need the rain. You’ve been amazing guests thank you
I had a wonderful stay spending time in nature, watching the beautiful sunrises, sitting beside the fire at night. The outside bath was an added bonus!
You will not be disappointed booking this cabin! It feels like home from the moment you walk in. Kim and Peter have perfected everything inside the cabin.
Beautiful cabin and surrounds with a ton of gorgeous little touches to make our stay extra special. Everything was provided for a unique off grid weekend away. Highly recommended!
Perfect getaway retreat. Lovely peace and quiet, lazy days reading a book and feeding the cows whilst the dogs run around and just be dogs. Happy smiles all around.
The cabin is beautifully styled, it’s an amazing space and includes everything you need. It even comes with a large bucket of feed to feed the highlanders cows. Hosts were super polite and accomodating. We can’t wait to go back
My husband and I had a wonderful little rural, romantic getaway. With a great little kitchen, we were able to self-cater easily and enjoy the space and peace. The rain left the deck very wet, but between showers we really enjoyed the swing chair and saying hi to the cows!
If you are looking for a quiet space then this is the place for you. All you hear are the birds. Surrounding countryside is absolutely beautiful.
The cabin was presented exceptionally clean n tidy. safe place to take your fur baby.

The most amazing weekend away!
We could not have imagined it to be more perfect.
From the little touches in the cabin to the highland cows greeting us at the fence in the mornings.
The Woodfire bath was my partner’s favourite!
Thank you Kim and Peter for an amazing experience and we will definitely be back 💗

You’re most welcome and your words make us very happy. Thanks for staying x
Great hosts! What a well presented country stay. Out of the way, quiet, relaxing. Just perfect for a get away with that special someone. If you don't want to cook, great food, and coffee are only 7mins away. That includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. A great experience is feeding the property's Highland cattle- treats supplied. Pet friendly! Happily recommend!
We loved our stay. Hosts were communicative and caring but still gave us space to enjoy. The cabin was a total vibe. The views stunning! We only got to see one sunrise on our stay due to a heavy storm the next night but based on our one sunrise experience we can confirm it’s very gorgeous and totally worth it! The cabin is in between two mountains so there is always a really lovely breeze. The bathtub was something we wished we used more of but the rain put a damper on that.Even in the rain this property was absolutely stunning. Aria, our dog, loved running around the green area. And the thoughtful and unique gestures put into the stay made it one to remember. We loved our painted emu spoon! We also loved cow whispering to the highlands in our spare time. The personal book guide that’s in the cabin was such a nice touch and I loved reading the history of the cabin and a bit about Kim and Peter. Hope to be back and definitely letting my well deserving parents in on this find. They would totally love it too!
This off-grid tiny home was perfect for us to escape the rat-race of work and busy lives. To spend time reconnecting with each other and ourselves. The solar battery was more than sufficient to get us through the night and into the next day. Lots of lovely thoughtful touches throughout the home (baths salts for the outdoor bath, fresh eggs, fun board games).
Getting the woodfire bath going was a bit too tricky for us (even though there are detailed instructions from the hosts) but was fun to try anyway.
The only way I could suggest improving this site is to have fencing that allows the dogs to be offlead in the yard, otherwise we were always conscious of keeping them barricaded in the house or on leads.
We had a brilliant time and the hosts were very accommodating.
