Place to hang your hat
The positives are that it wasn’t expensive, the couch is fairly comfortable, the t.v. worked and communication with the owner was great. Would we stay again? Not likely. Sadly, when we pulled up we both looked at each other and said “ this can’t be it”. The other houses in the neighbourhood were beautifully kept up, this one had overgrown bushes, grass that was unkept. Then when we entered via the “ garage/carport” we almost didn’t dare go in. It was dark and dirty. It is a shared space with no sound barrier from the voices upstairs. It was very cold inside when we arrived. It’s advertised that there is a coffee pot, kettle etc.. however, there is no coffee or even tea bags. The only sink is a tiny one in the shared bathroom. The shower is another story… it’s so tiny and completely dark and dirty. It needs a good scrub with a cleaner and brush. I’d suggest a clear plastic shower curtain instead of two solid cloth ones…. I’m so sorry to leave such a poor review. I have never left a negative review.

Property was adequate. Check in okay. Room was rather small but okay. Removal of shoes an inconvenience, especially that the entry rug was always covered with grass. The bathroom could have been cleaned better, especially around the toilet. Property owner was personal and extremely helpful. Would go back again.

It was OK.
This is a house with three bedrooms on the main floor with ONE shared bathroom. When we booked, vrbo web made it look like "one bedroom and one bathroom ", and we only found out after arrival that each of the three bed rooms was rented separately and you have to share the bathroom with guests in two other rooms. It wasn't a big issue during our stay since the two other rooms seems only had solo travelers. The room was very basic with a queen bed, really more suited for a single person or a student. The living room/ kitchen was nice, the owner TAM was also nice and accommodating. But the bathroom mirror and vanity was not very clean. All in all, this was only a vacation rental in the summer months so it was really a student dorm-level accommodation, but the rate and location were good.

Great place with all the basics
Great location and close to everything. Hosts were very helpful and accomodating. We had the entire basement to ourselves. Bed was comfortable. Accomodations were clean. Would suggest that you contact the hosts if you need special requirements, i.e. no coffee maker, no TV. Overall it was good value for the rate charged. Thank you Tam and Nancy, we enjoyed our five day stay! :)
