Great time in the Pines

Adorable property that was well stocked and within walking distance to the VRBO where our friends were staying. Property management went above and beyond to ensure our stay went well. They were communicative and flexible. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Getaway

Very nice place to stay. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Quiet peaceful neighborhood. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and the fenced in yard was great for our 2 little dogs. The front porch and the back deck were very nice to sit out and enjoy the cooler weather.

Perfect Pinetop getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed this well-appointed and well-located cabin. We appreciated the comfortable beds and lovely bed linens as well as the extra pillows and throws made available throughout the home. The owners featured high-end bath and hand wash products (nice touch). The neighborhood is lovely and management is readily accessible. We shall return!

Great May visit

This property continues to be the BEST we've stayed at in Pinetop-Lakeside --- The owner/host, Christine, is continually available (even responding to a question as she's getting off a plane!); little things make a difference: water bottles; protein bars; pet treats; make-up remover; shampoo and soap; bicycles to ride; a canoe if you want; clean and usable cookware. We will, without a doubt, be returning!

Pinetop getaway

We were able to get away to pinetop in march while their was still snow on the ground. The cabin was great, snow all around for my 4 year old son to play in! The gas fireplace was great and we used it every night. The cabin had all the ementities we needed. Would recommend, we had family of 4 plus 2 dogs. There was a fenced in backyard for the dogs to run around.

Sunny Pines

Great location for 2 adults. Under 1000 square feet. Wonderful for walking in the neighborhood, sitting on the fabulous covered porch in the rocking chairs, listening to the afternoon rains. Very well equipped with cookware, utensils, spices, etc. Christine went above and beyond to accommodate us. Highly recommend.

Quiet Spot in the Mountains

My wife and I stayed at Sunny Pines for two weeks in June 2023. The house is small, but perfectly adequate for a couple escaping the heat in the valley, or a small family. We especially liked the quiet location, the well appointed kitchen, the outdoor porches with rocking chairs and a table and chairs, the garage, and the fenced in area for our two Aussies. Christine is a very attentive host, and even proactively offered to let us check in early on our arrival day! The reason for our less than 5 star review is that the beds are in need of being updated. Still, we very much enjoyed our stay at Sunny Pines, and would consider staying here again.

Excellent Five Day Stay

As seniors, wishing to avoid the June heat of Tucson, we elected to spend ten days in the White Mountains. Half of this stay was at the Sunny Pines Cabin in Pinetop, AZ. An excellent choice on our part, with the owners being pet friendly for our Havanese puppy. Enjoyed the setting in the pines, the home layout in a well kept neighborhood, the mid-day temperatures in mid 80's with usually a slight breeze (no A/C was not an issue), cool evenings, the walk-in shower, and the front porch was great for drinks before dinner then the side porch for dinner. Appreciate Christine (owner) advising us of the White Mountain Nature Center with it's raptor shows/training sessions, plus her general communications before and during our stay. Well equipped home and we would wholeheartedly recommend Sunny Pines to anyone wishing to have a relaxing and comfortable stay in Pinetop. Basically 5 stars all around.

Cozy Getaway

This cabin was the perfect size for my husband and I to getaway for Thanksgiving weekend! The fenced in porch/yard was so convenient for our two dogs and we so appreciated how the cabin dog friendly as we often travel with our pups. Our favorite part was sitting in front of the fireplace watching endless amounts of football. I would hands down recommend this to any couple or small family looking for their quaint Pinetop retreat!

Charming and quiet retreat

This is a very quiet neighborhood, with only the sound of wind in the pines. The cabin has all the amenities…simply bring your food. Loved the cruiser bikes (provided at the property) for exploring the beautiful wooded area.

My family spent a long weekend at Sunny Pines. The cabin was perfect for the four of us. It was very clean and very well stocked with everything you could think of. The host Christine was a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to book again this winter for a weekend of skiing!!

Well-stocked and convenient

We couldn’t have been happier with this rental. The owner provided darned near everything we could have wanted or needed to make us comfortable. The ‘cabin’ is beautifully appointed (seemingly quite recently done) and cozy…..large enough to feel roomy but compact enough to be efficient. The location is far enough away from town to be quiet, but close enough to things to make it easy. More than two or three adults or two adults and one or two children might make the space too close for comfort. Highly recommended!!

Best place

This property was the absolute best we've ever stayed at in the Pinetop-Lakeside area. It was clean and well maintained. A huge plus was that there was a very adequate supply of all cooking tools, pots and pans -- and all either new or in great condition. Frequent check-ins by the property owner to see if there was anything else we needed was very much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again!

Sunny Pines

Easy check in, quiet neighborhood. Refrigerator was the only thing less than clean, but the manager offered to have someone come out, which we declined and cleaned it up ourselves in 10 minutes. They did send a gift card, so that was nice. Very pleasant stay.
