Cabin had several trash bags scattered outside in front of the property and basic supplies were not supplied and the linens on the master bed were dirty
We stayed here with a family of four. Just a couple minutes from the grocery store and Arrowhead Village. It can be a little challenging to find the property at night, and Parking two vehicles could be challenging (especially if one is larger) but we had no problems with our mid-size SUV.
The house clearly has seating for four, so groups any larger, unless small children, would be difficult.
The owner has done some nice updates in the kitchen and bath. We had nice, hot water with good water pressure in the kitchen and bath. The place was clean. The linens were clean. We appreciated the included Kurik with plenty of K-cups (even though we brought our own).
Appears the washer and dryer in the guest-room are brand new and we ran multiple loads of laundry with no issues. The air-conditioner and Ecobee thermostat worked great.
All of our entertainment choices were open to us by signing into our own accounts on the included Roku.
The only down-sides were the living room furniture is fairly low quality. While it is leather/imitation leather which is great for a rental because of how easy it is to clean, it is not very comfortable. Appears to be IKEA-type couch and chair, and we noticed the leg had fallen off the armchair and someone else had attempted to re-attach it. It worked, but would fall off again if someone attempted to move the chair.
The kitchen is super cute. And while small, it is pretty functional. It had most of what we needed, including decent appliances. However. if doing much cooking here, the kitchen knives and cooking utensils are also low quality (probably also from IKEA) which makes heavy cooking with dull cutlery and flimsy utensils a challenge.
But these are nitpicks. And we would happily stay here again if we were in the area. The porch was also a nice place to sit. The WiFi was dependable. And the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing.
The owner has done a nice job taking this probably once rustic cabin, and turning it into a cozy place to stay with modern conveniences.
