Great place. Clean and tidy, with almost everything you'd need for a great stay. Great view of the lake. With a fire pit overlooking the water. Amazing!
Easy smooth check-in. Cottage was clean, kitchen was stocked with everything you would need, including water! Linens, pillows towels all laid out for use! Wifi worked down to the water! AC worked great and all the fans were a nice touch! On a quiet road, lots of parking in driveway for 5 cars! Downtown Port Dover just a 5 minute drive. Would love to stay here again! Only thing missing was an outside dinning table!
I used this for a business trip with multiple fun colleagues. View out the back is amazing and great place to sit and drink your morning coffee. Host was great and so was check in/out process. Will come back again.
The property as a whole is amazing! The house was clean and cared for and met all our needs. The yard was stunning,... so many areas to enjoy - by the water, fire pit, deck, and screened-in porch. I recommend it,.. it does not disappoint.
My family of 7 seniors gathered from across Canada for a 5 day holiday. This property was perfect! 4bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were just what we needed!
The only thing we wished had been available was access to the Blue Jay games on t.v. That was disappointing.
We felt that the stairs on the back deck could have been better outlined as our most senior family member didn’t see the edge of the top stair and he took a tumble. Luckily he was not seriously hurt.
We had such a lovely time at this log home!
The space itself is small, but well utilized so we never felt crowded. We have only nice things to say about the lay out and design.
There's a screened in outdoor space that we spent a lot of time in, chatting/reading, that never felt cramped. The bugs were never really much of a problem, either 👍
The property feels very private, though there are cameras in outdoor spaces that I don't recall were disclosed in the ad.
For future guests: there's a Keurig but no coffee pot; it's water front but not really accessible (beach access is 5 min drive into town, so not bad at all); couldn't find a cutting board in the kitchen; lots of signs about limiting our water usage, but we never noticed a problem (6 of us showered every day).
Wonderful place to stay :)
Great mini holiday. The house was spacious and extremely clean. The backyard had a great view of the lake. The owner was extremely helpful.
Overall a great staycation!
