Had an amazing time with my friends. We had a group of 8 and the house fit the group perfectly. Everything was accommodated for and the host was always there for help or if we had any questions. 10/10 would recommend.

The cottage is clean and ready for guests. The river it is across from is fast flowing but lovely to canoe or kayak on. It is so quiet and peaceful.

I rented this cabin August 14-16 with a bunch of girls for a weekend away and we had the best time. We had a few mishaps but nothing to do with the host or the property. I highly recommend this place and we definitely plan on returning again. The cabin is spacious and lots of room for fun and games. The water is beautiful and we spent most of our day on the water. 5 stars all around!

Everything was wonderful! My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Robert was incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. When we initially had trouble with the hot water, he quickly guided us through turning it back on and was happy to assist with any other questions throughout our stay.The cottage itself was charming, cozy, and full of vintage character, and it’s located in such a beautiful area of Muskoka. Although it rained for most of our visit, the cottage was the perfect place to relax indoors and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.

There was no hot water for our entire stay!! The basement had been flooded and was really damp and cold. The basement beds were cold and damp so, instead, we slept in the bunkie and on the main floor couch. The main floor bed was poor, cracked when getting in and out, and terribly uncomfortable. It was so disappointing, that we had to change our weekend plans with family to a totally different location.

Great host, beautiful location

My friends and I were very happy with our stay. Home was neat and comfortable. The view from the dock was gorgeous and the location is a short trip away from town/beaches etc. Would recommend staying here.

Clean, large property in Bracebridge. Close to everything, but still peaceful and quiet. Perfect for a getaway with family and friends. One thing to note-The dock does not have a ladder to climb out of the water once you’ve jumped in- but other than that, it was great all around.

Cottage escape from the city

My son and I enjoyed our stay at this property. Very nice quiet location by the river. Even caught a two for long spotted pike from the dock which we cooked up and devoured. I would enthusiastically recommend this cottage. Thanks

Great place to stay.

My friends and I stayed at Robert’s place over a weekend. We had a great time and lots of memories were shared & created. Our trip was nothing but smooth and convenient. If a small issue arose, Robert was extremely quick at replying to our messages! Thanks Robert! :)

We stayed in the long weekend of July was great time on the river. They could a better bigger coffee machine. The one was there is only for 2 ppl coffee machine. Was clean and we enjoyed the fire pit. The area is quite and very woody so we had a few mosquitoes. Overall good place

Very comfortable stay

We had a great time at this cottage. The communication with the owner was easy and he responds very quickly. The cottage itself is located wright by the river, which is very calm and great for water recreation. The owner has the property well stocked with many things that you will need during your visit, including drinking water. The cottage is very comfortable and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend if you are looking to get away!

Great property, would visit again

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this secluded and quiet property. It’s spacious backyard and location allowed for a great place to gather and play. The various children’s amenities made the fathers in our group think it’d be perfect for a family visit as well. Note that there is very little cell service, you’ll absolutely need the wifi provided. It’s also worth noting that you may need to bring your own water as the tap water isn’t potable (hardly an unusual thing for a cottage). Robert, the host, was quick to respond to our questions and is very friendly. Town isn’t far away, so anything you’ll need for your visit is a short drive away. We unanimously agreed we’d come back for another cottage weekend in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing time at the vintage boho river cottage in Muskoka. The cottage was beautiful, clean, organized and spacious enough for all of us (group of 7). The cottage offered 4 rooms, a queen bed in the room the first floor, with ample space and a closet with extra pillows. The second room and third room were in the basement and one had a double bed, the other two singles, and the basement also hosted the tv room, game room and laundry and had a pullout sofa. Outside, there was an outhouse with another bedroom. This was my favourite. It had its own A/C and heater, a little dining room table, one sofa and a double bed. All the rooms were clean, had clean and fresh linens and were super comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed. We had a great time on the dock as well, and although we did not use it much (it rained most of the weekend), Roberto also had kayaks, a floating pad that you could use in the river, and the backyard was beautiful and equipped with everything you needed for a good time -a firepit, bbq and comfortable outdoor furniture. Roberto was also an awesome host. Super responsive and friendly. 100% will visit again!
