Show Low Cabin Getaway

Property was clean and lined up perfectly with expectations. The gas fireplace inside was the only tricky part of the stay as it did not have accurate instructions, even differing slightly from the instructions sent from the property manager after check-in. The home heater was also set to the mid 50s upon arrival, which made for a chilly start to the stay.

Family visit

This cabin and location was perfect for our weekend visit with our family in Showlow! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The home has everything you will need and all the extra touches. We enjoyed the ping pong table, outside deck, loft and the national forest access right behind the property! It is a stunning home and area! We will be back!

Nice place

Nice house. Large kitchen is nice. House does need some repairs. (Exterior lighting, back deck stairs -safety issue, sink drainage, etc) Also— we look for rentals that don’t allow for pets due to my wife’s allergies. This house listed as no pets but homeowners likely had dogs. House is nice and clean but still has allergens. Despite my criticism, nice place. Enjoyed our stay.

Fall Break

This was our second time staying at this property, we love the location and it's surroundings the most. We enjoyed hanging out on the huge deck and taking in the private pine filled lot. This year the linens were icky, they need to replace the towels, they smell like mildew. The blankets in the family room are covered in animal hair, not sure they get washed. The washing machine is broken. It makes a horrible screeching noise when in use. We reached out the management last time we stayed and had wonderful communication, this year it was terrible. Evolve is horrible and would detour me from renting from them ever again. They didn't respond quickly and when they did, they didn't answer my questions and when they responded again, they told me to reach out to someone else who never responded.

Fall Break in the pines

This was our second time staying at this property and the home is great! We enjoy the space of the home, inside and out, it's clean, and best of all is the location. This year we didn't have good communication with Evolve, the management company is my biggest complaint, they didn't respond in a timely manner and when they finally did respond it wasn't in response to my question and then they told me to reach out to someone else so I never heard back from them on my issue so that is very frustrating. The experience wasn't as good as last year, I had contact with the owner last year who was extremely responsive and went above and beyond.I will leave this info hear because I never heard back from Evolve. The washing machine has a bad belt or something, it makes the LOUDEST screeching noises. There is no working TV remote for the master bedroom, the towels were old and smelt like mildew (gross!) The blankets in the family room have animal hair on them, I don't think they wash them.

So peaceful

we loved our stay at this beautiful cabin. Area was so nice and quiet, and nicely tucked away without neighbors being too close. The place was very clean and just enough decor without being cluttered. We enjoyed sitting outside in the deck in well taken care off patio furniture. No cobwebs anywhere! Yay! Couple of small things not working though, and that is the bedroom remote to the tv, the dimmer for fan and light (could not turn off light without turning off fan) and the laundry room utility sink leaked. Also, the fridge not cooling enough. But these issues did not interfere with our relaxing stay. Highly recommend this rental.

Cozy Cabin

We’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it, which is why we booked again. Everything was great, except when we were going through the checkout list, which included loading all towels into the washing machine and starting it, there was no laundry detergent. The jug was completely empty and none to be found anywhere else. This just gave me pause wondering if the towels and linens had been properly cleaned prior to our arrival??? I certainly hope so! Also, prior to arrival we had an issue with payment and we tried numerous times to get in contact with the management company with no luck. The call never went through and we were never actually able to speak to a human. Luckily we were able to resolve the issue through the website, which was not very user friendly. To change the subject back to our visit, this cabin is in a really nice neighborhood and it’s very quiet and private. We appreciate that! It was fun to have the corn hole boards and ping pong table as well! All in all it is a great place to stay, with the exception of the things I mentioned.

Elevated cabin experience

This cabin is very nice and in a lovely quiet neighborhood with lots of pine trees, perfect for walking. We enjoyed many of the amenities such as the gated porch (great to sit outside with the dogs and it looks out into the forest, great location), bbq grill, very well-stocked kitchen, and table tennis in the game room. I liked that all the light switches were labeled, and even the location of some appliances in the pantry. We all thought the beds were very comfortable (including my elderly mom, who is notoriously picky about that). We could not find any sheets for the pull out couch in the loft but the guest contact was helpful and brought over extra sheets very promptly. Only suggestion is that you consider providing a pair of scissors in the kitchen, and consider adding dish towels (i.e. for drying) and dish cloths. My elderly parents shared that they would have appreciated some closet space to hang clothes in the master bedroom, as the closet was locked and inaccessible, and an additional bathroom rug.There are some very minor property maintenance issues that did not detract at all from enjoying our stay, but may want to be addressed soon. These include: -Several exterior landscape lights are out, especially along the driveway-One exterior garage light has broken glass-Loose fixtures (towel racks) in bathrooms-Guest bathroom toilet does not flush well, handle seems loose and needs to be held down for the water to empty-Laundry sink appears to be leaking-Back door handle is loose-The singleton recliner chair does not recline - a cord appears to be loose.-only 3 table tennis paddles, so we couldn’t play doubles, and one has part of the handle missing

This property was amazing! Great location and private. The house is beautiful inside and outside. There was fun games to play for the family and relaxing on the back patio was nice! Will definitely keep this place on our list to stay at again!

We come to Show Low every year for Memorial Day and this made 10 years. This was a top tier cabin and one of our favorites we have ever stayed at. We would certainly book again given the opportunity. The owner graciously allowed early check in without any hassle since we usually get into town between 12-1. The location was perfect for us as it was near Show Low Park, Safeway and our friends staying in Torreon. Loved the welcome gift set out for us, not many places do that anymore, what a nice touch and we enjoyed it. Cabin was fully stocked with a clean unopened sponge for dishes which was huge brownie points with me. Would have loved to see some aluminum foil, ziploc bags and cooking oil though but we bought and left there for the next guests. . Otherwise perfectly stocked as mentioned even had tupperware. Lots of K pods for the Keurig, to-go coffee cups, plastic silverware. Cabin was very clean and decorated modern and cute. Loved all the windows and being able to open them up since they had screens. Beds were comfortable. Lots of seating for entertaining in & out. Loved the outdoor spaces and nice big porches with good clean furniture. We were so happy to bring our pup a long with us being that the cabin is pet friendly and the front porch and back porch can be enclosed for the pets. They even had dog bowls. We enjoyed the game garage and there was giant jenga too. Very easy and simple check in & check out, owner did not request copy of IDs or anything extra with check in.

Peaceful getaway

Our stay at the Show Low cabin was great! The owner was very responsive and hospitable, making the booking process smooth and welcoming. We were nicely surprised to find a thoughtful gift upon arrival. The cabin was spacious enough for our group of 8, beautiful decorated, and it had everything we needed. The cabin's location was ideal, offering easy access to the natural beauty and local attractions of Show Low. Each day was an opportunity for new discoveries, from serene hikes to cozy evenings spent by the fireplace. Thank you, Jon for a great time! Highly recommend for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Cozy getaway

We enjoyed our stay, it was a much needed reprieve from the desert heat. Like all vacations there are pros and cons to the accommodations. Pros: *Location- close enough to the city that you can make a quick run into town of you need yet far enough away that it feels secluded. *Cozy- lots of soft throws to snuggle under, comfy sofa and great eating areas *Clean-the cabin was well kept and in clean condition *Quiet-the neighbors are spaced out and quiet. Makes it easy to listen to the birds and crickets. *Kitchen- the kitchen was stocked with useful appliances and utensils as well as spices and some everyday items you may forget. Only thing we couldn’t find was a cheese grater :) *Welcome gift. Very sweet and unexpected. Don’t share details so you can be surprised too. Cons:*Master bedroom- the mattress was so incredible firm that it was equivalent to sleeping on the floor. It was very uncomfortable. *Fireplace- the fireplace didn’t work at all. *House keepers-the cabin was clean, however, the dishwasher was filled with broken glass shards and there was a broken glass in the cabinet. *Nest Thermostat-while this is great for an unoccupied cabin, it isn’t great when there are tenants. Whoever controls the nest had it set to 50° overnight, we changed it, but it went back to 50. It was so cold, our daughter ended up getting sick. *Camera- super cute idea and we were looking forward to taking some candid family photos, however the camera wasn’t charged nor did it have any film. For future guests, we left behind 4 fishing rods. We hope someone else can use them and have an adventure like we did. We enjoyed time at both ShowLow Lake and Fools Hollow.

Family Fall Break Getaway

The Showlow/Pinetop area is our favorite place to get away and out of the heat for fall break. We were so glad we picked this property to stay in. The location was perfect! We enjoyed being close to everything but felt like we were out in the woods. Jon was an amazing host, he went above and beyond during our stay to make sure every detail was to his expectation of the property managers to make sure our stay was perfect. We cooked in the well stocked kitchen, enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage, all the areas of seating outdoors to relax and enjoy the pines. Thank you for sharing your home and I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We had our 4 kids ranging in age from 10-17 years old plus the dogs and we all had plenty of space, it was a wonderful stay.

3 br house, nice kitchen, fantastic front and back patio. Tucked in the trees in a very nice neighborhood. Private, well lit. Quick drive to Show low and a few more minutes to Pinetop. Just as advertised. Quite nice.

Excellent Summer Getaway!

The respite away from the valley heat in this excellently located and appointed property made our time there relaxing and pleasurable. I found myself every morning having coffee observing the the serene back woods and on the large overlooking porch. Games and conversation were easy to enjoy out there! We will be back and recommend it highly for others.!

Spacious stay hideaway home

The home had everything you could need! Loved it very much and it was extremely comfortable. We would stay again and recommend it! Family friendly. Loved how the decks had gates!! Only challenge was the management co Evolve. They never responded to my emails, calls or texts before we arrived. The voice mail was full as well. Owner Jon was very helpful and welcomed us our first day!
