About this property

Lakefront Cabin for Rent on Jessica Lake

Park among the birch trees, inhale the fresh air then stroll through the cozy cabin to the front deck. The view will take your breath away. At night you may see shooting stars or the Northern Lights!

Please note this is a Cabin, not a lake house, and doesn't have the services you would find in a Hotel. You will need to bring everything you need or buy items at the local store if you run out. There is no delivery or on-site services at this location. Sorry no WiFi.

All plumbing fixtures are supplied from lake water. (1) 5 Gallon & (1) 2 Gallon jug of potable water supplied for drinking/cooking. If you plan on consuming more, please bring jugs / bottles of water. 5 gallon water cooler on location.

We ask all guests to leave the cabin the way they found it, except making the beds. Our cleaning staff will change the linen, make the beds, and disinfect the cabin. Boiled lake water from the tap is suitable from washing dishes. There is a window AC unit. Please keep in mind it isn't like outside AC units, it does make noise when running.

1 roll of paper towel provided.

4 rolls of toilet paper provided.

All necessary cleaning supplies provided.

There is a BBQ on location. please feel free to use any attached propane. We suggest you bring another propane tank in case it runs out.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at this quiet lake front cottage. We enjoyed the available canoe for short treks out to the islands on the lake and playing at the small beach. We would stay here again!

Great family vacation!

Had a wonderful stay with my family at the end of August. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The little private beach was perfect for my two young children (2 and 5), and we were lucky to see lots of wildlife! Would highly recommend!

It’s clear the owners take pride in their property, it was very clean and well maintained. The cabin was well stocked, they thought of everything, from food wrap to mosquito coils! And the view ❤️! We had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency, but would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

our family had a wonderful time lots to do . Don't forget fishing rod , you catch right from the dock. Frogs where lucky to remain at the lake ( kids wanted new pets ) morning to night busy sand castles , moats , swimming ( shallow lake ) fire pit . a week filled with fun. Will do this again . We were welcomed by two eagles who stayed for the day. We saw a beaver, a snake, a large frog. Very little interaction with other people but the neighbor was helpful when we needed to pump our SUP boards. The lake was perfect for canoeing and SUP boarding. Rainbow falls was a 2 hr paddle away. Fishing off the dock. Sand for castles. Inside, lots of movies, games. We had 6 people but dishes and chairs are for 5. Prepare for boiling water to wash dishes. No can opener but mostly everything else for cooking. We made great memories. We all are so glad we stayed here.

Disappointment and stressful

Not sure where to begin. But here I go …. Check in went smooth. First thing I did was checked the bedding. Very old and unattractive , so was concerned. When I removed the old quilts , sheets were not tucked in nicely and folded for new arrivals. Looked like people were already sleeping in them. Carpets were old and tattered looking and smelt like mildew. I immediately vacuumed and canister was full of dirt. Room I slept in had a wooden roughly cut shelving of some sort The quilt on bed I slept “on” was torn in inside. Beetles in bed every morning. When my son found a used band aid in the bed, they left the next day . 1” of watered down dish detergent in kitchen. Had to buy my own. Black couches - arms looked like a cat attacked them. When you sit on black couches you fall back into the wall. Kids slept on 2 airbeds I brought with me. Propane tank was empty after 2 uses with no spare. Bought our own.the brush for cleaning bbq had no bristles my daughter brought one when she came. Fish hook in sand next to dock. Grand kids could have stepped on it. 4 bath towels for 8 people. 4 rolls of toilet paper. Bought are own. I washed with my shampoo the 2 gravity chairs They were disgusting. When I sat on one the seam torn they were so rotted. (I’m only 130 lbs ) Chromecast for tv didn’t work. Nor did the video game set. Kayaks for $80 more were my life saver. The lake and view were amazing. I left 1 day early. Would appreciate 3 night refund ! Not a place for a family.😭

In business there always comes at time when you get a toxic customer, it's unfortunate but that's the world we live in. The customer didnt read the property description, and was expecting a Hotel type experience. We will not publicly address the long list of lies, please see our other reviews, and judge for yourself.
