Seascape has just completed an extensive two year restoration project of the exterior of the complex. This design included a metal roofing system, gorgeous new stucco work, improved elevators, beautiful landscaping and walkways, and more.

**Note:** Due to the ongoing beach renourishment, the Seascape beach access is currently closed for guest safety. There is an access path at Summer Dunes Lane—turn left from the Seascape entrance onto Palmetto Drive and Summer Dunes Lane is .1 miles down on the left. We are eagerly awaiting an update on when the beach access will reopen. Please give our local office a call if you have any questions!
*Home Truths:* - You must be 25 years or older to book this home. - Please note that Early Check-In (ECI) and Late Check-Out (LCO) services are not available from May to September. - Guests must supply their own beach/pool towels. - Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property. All reservations between 4-28 nights come with a $250 beach gear credit with VaykGear.com. Guests will be able to reserve gear after booking. - The Seascape pool is open seasonally between May - Sept and is not heated. - Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet. - Fireplaces are not for guest use. - Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes. - Guests have access to the Seascape pool, and to the cafes and restaurants at Wild Dunes. Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately. - Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes.
*Parking Details:* - There are two parking spots available. - To gain access to Wild Dunes, the guest will need a car pass. Passes will be emailed to the guest before their arrival.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.

The condo was well appointed, kitchen was andequate and furniture was very comfortable. One King bed had a memory foam mattress that left 2 of us with restless nights and poor sleep. The lack of paper products (one-half paper towel roll, 2 garbage bags (total!), no Kleenex / tissues, limited toilet paper rolls) was surprising with the rental rate being so high. I haven’t experienced that lack of attention at a resort property before.

While our homes come stocked with an initial supply of essentials, we understand how this may have felt insufficient and will take your comments into account as we review our stocking practices. While the condo is nice, there were some issues that made the price tag seem high. For one, there was construction happening every day except July 4. The listing indicated that it would conclude the day after we arrived; it persisted throughout our stay. Another issue was parking. It was difficult to find a place to park. We ended up having to park at the golf course and walk to the condo. It appeared as though people who were not staying there were using the parking lot. It would have been nice to have had management monitoring that.
The beach was extremely crowded which may be due to the week we were there (week of July 4). There were times it took 30 mins to get to groceries approx 4 miles away.
There was sand in one of the beds before we used it and a dirty washcloth left in one of the bathrooms. Other than that, the condo was clean; however we paid for a mid-week cleaning and no one came until Friday. We were leaving early Sunday morning. We told her to forget it. It wasn’t worth it at that point.
We were together as a family so we enjoyed our week; however, for the significant amount we paid for a week, there were definitely some misses.

Thank you, Michael, for your review and thoughts on our rental home. We are very happy to hear you liked the condo and had a great holiday week despite the construction/parking issues mentioned. We do apologize there was exterior construction finishing up on the other side of the complex during your stay. This was disclosed in our listing descriptions and we did try to relay all updates from the construction company that were in charge of the renovations. The regime indicated the construction was completed during your stay, but did spend several weeks cleaning up and removing. This exterior work did include equipment and additional vehicles that did restrict the parking, to go along with our almost full capacity on the island during the holiday week. July 4th is the most popular week on the Isle of Palms for guests, owners, and daytime visitors so traffic and parking can be crowded for sure. Lastly, we would normally schedule the midweek cleans on Thursday or Friday for Sun-Sun stays, and most were done on Friday for this week due to Thursday falling on the actual 4th. We continue to upgrade our unit annually and also hope you will come back to see the exterior enhancements to the complex, the landscaping, and the parking areas. Thank you again.
