Cottage was immaculately clean on arrival and the cottage offerred everything our family needed for an enjoyable vacation. Our grandchildren especially enjoyed the fishing right off the dock.
This cottage is stunning, great fishing and a great overall experience. Only a few issues which the landlord didn't reply to, but may have been a communication issue. Highly recommend.
Stayed here for a 30th birthday party and the property was absolutely stunning. Easily enough room for 12 people to stay, lots of space inside and by the water. Gorgeous and quiet lake. Lots of amenities. Made for a great weekend getaway!
Quiet area where we were able to relax from the hustle and bustle, but still had connectivity to touch base where needed.
The photos are accurate and this place was just what was needed to unwind. The hosts were prompt and courteous. Thanks for the great stay!

A good place if looking for a quiet place
The property is clean and there is ample space. If you are looking for more excitement it is not a place for you
This was a family vacation that included a newborn and an 8 and 10 year old. Eight people in total. Lots of space inside and out.
Beautiful view. Kids kayaks and air hockey were big hits!
We enjoyed this property - it was everything we needed and more - 5 stars - only one negative - the driveway was snow plowed in but we made it work and had a few trucks to get down the drive to get into the cottage !!
The cottage is so spacious. It is very clean and comes with brand new appliences. The AC works perfectly and the home has great sealing to prevent temp loss. It has an indoor fire place perfect for winter time. And lasty, the host was nice and responsive. Defenitely recomend it.
Cottage was great and represents the setting as per the pictures. Amazing communication by the owners!
It would be amazing if there were more bath towels, pillow covers, and blankets to align with the max guest allowance. I would also suggest changing mattresses particularly in the bunk beds.
Overall good place to get away. The massive outdoor firepit is the highlight!
Thanks
We enjoyed all the amenities this cottage had to offer - kayaks, paddleboat, air hockey table and overall location. Lots of space to spread out so we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The owner was also very responsive when we messaged him about a few questions we had. Just a note that the waste facility is open on Wednesdays at 9 am and on Saturdays at 11 am only. Recycling's free but they'll charge a minimum fee of $10 for garbage.
Place is cozy and decent for a young family. Had limited and wornout boating equipment. Be prepared to bring your own towels, duvet, pillow cases, extra dish soap, extra toilet paper, extra paper towels, bathing soap and shampoo because they don’t supply enough. Claimed to have a toaster, but didn't. No lighters. Not to mention flies everywhere. Leaving two stars because our experience with the host wasn’t very pleasant. Kind of rude and not accommodating when inquiring about the above. Had to run back and forth several times into town to pick up additional supplies.

Cottage Escape
Beautiful location and property. Great little get away. A bit on the pricey side considering it was missing essential amenities such as kitchen utensils, bathroom essentials, blankets, bedding and towels. Pictures are deceiving because it appears to have everything but make sure you pack your own stuff to ensure that you will have everything you need for a relaxing uninterrupted stay. Bunker outside of cottage has additional sleeping space if travelling with a large group. Host responded but did not offer any solutions to help ensure guests were well looked after. Overall, it was a nice quiet spot to relax and get away for a bit, just make sure you pack well!
This cottage was absolutely stunning. The sunset views were amazing every night, especially right after the thunder storm we had the one afternoon.
From the time we arrived everything was great. Having 5 bedrooms for 10 people (6 adults, 4 kids) was perfect. There was lots of space for everyone. The cottage was clean when we arrived, and we made sure it was clean when we left.
PROS:
- Great location with lots of fishing (caught large mouth bass, pike, crappie, and tons of sunfish)
- Lots to do (air hockey table, tree house - slide isn't very secure, swimming with the deep area in front of stones, board games, wifi, slip n slide, inflatable row boat, air compressor for all inflatable needs, water fountain, etc)
- All the furniture was very nice and comfortable. Lots of seating for everyone.
CONS:
- could have used more plates & cookware. Always had to clean the dishes after every meal which is a lot of water usage.
- some curtains were not anchored into the walls properly and kept falling
- area is very weedy but that's not the fault of the owner. They did a great job of keeping the area deeper for swimming and the blower keeps the weeds away very well
- Geese poop all over the yard. Again, not the fault of the owner as they kept coming up almost every morning. But we had to clean it because the kids kept stepping in it.
- would be nice to have the ladder attached to the dock.
- basement was at least 10 deg colder than upstairs when a/c on.
Will return for sure!
The cottage was everything as advertised and more! Amazing views, great fishing, and the cottage itself is very nicely updated with all the amenities you’d need. There were more than enough sleeping arrangements in the cottage for the 7 people in our group, with even more beds in one of the bunkies in the backyard. We had no issues, but the couple times I did contact the owners, the replies were instant. I definitely recommend, and would rent again in a heartbeat if I bring a larger group up that way in the future!
