Review on Goulburn river cottage
⁃ Induction stove didn’t work ⁃ Coffee espresso machine didn’t work ⁃ No privacy in loft. Maybe put in a curtain ⁃ Would not not comfortably sleep 12 guests. 4 out of 12 people would have to sleep on couches to fit 12 people to ⁃ House was dirty when we arrived and had to vacuum and mop. Yet I paid $110 cleaning fee and I was told by management to clean the house prior to check out… ⁃ A lot of dust in house and dead bugs. stains on the carpet. House was very dirty and hasn’t been cleaned since previous guests. ⁃ Fridge wasn’t working but was replaced immediately when owners were notified. ⁃ Very loud water pump. ⁃ Received a noise complaint at 9:30pm on a Friday night on a long weekend despite we were not partying. ⁃ Couch in the living room was disgusting and ripped and is damaged. ⁃ All the curtains were missing a lot of hooks and we weren’t able to close them fully. ⁃ Mice or rats making noise in the roof. Otherwise house in a great location and fairly spacious for 6 people. New fridge. New bbq. Great river access.

Very Disappointing
We were so excited to come and stay in the cottage but we were very disappointed when we got here. Front the start the front yard looked different, all overgrown and messy. The cottage was dirty: The carpets in the bedrooms full of stains and disgusting. Cobwebs everywhere Dust everywhere on the beams Built up dust on the fan in the kitchen Blinds old and grotty Dirty dishes returned to cupboard unwashed Fridge was not wiped out and had dry and sticky liquid on the shelves The rug in the living room was not vacuumed- I lifted it up and dirty was falling of it The couch is disgusting. Had to cover it with own blankets to sit on them. The couches in the pool room were way better. The rubbish bins were completely full with other peoples rubbish when we got there and struggled to squeeze our rubbish in there before taking them out. The mob that was left to clean the house was wet and smelly. It had dirt through it. I had to rinse it out a few times before I can use The bed linen was so thin and no electric blankets. Lucky that we brought lots of extra blankets and even then the first night some of us did not sleep from being cold. We tried to play pool but the lighting in there is so poor we couldn’t see to play. Both days we were there the weather was overcast so we couldn’t see to play at all, not to mention at nighttime where we needed torches, which you didn’t even have! What we found positive is: The location and wildlife The river The wood fire
