A lovely house that housed our 2 famalies brilliantly. Stunning location with a lovely hot tub. Great base for exploring the west coast and Gros Morne park. Cornerbrook and Passedena both near by with supermarkets and restaurants etc. the house was so quiet and we heard many birds and wildlife - would highly recommend
We just spent a week with family and friends and our house worked out really well. It was well equipped and clean and inviting when we got there. There was a few minor issues but the pros far outweighed the cons. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
Unfortunately our stay in Humber Valley was short lived. We would have loved to spend way more time there and explore more of the area.
The house was a wonderful size for us all. It is not stocked with condiments so you’ll need to bring along your own if you’re cooking.
Gregory was great to work with and quick with responding.

Didn’t meet expectations
House was not up to expectations Have stayed in others in same class but this was well below other levels have stayed in that price House definitely needs some updates and repairs back to what it probably once was Was a few issues that we’re dealt with by our contact and hope it’s improved uponBeing in the wooded area there were some ants inside cabinets etc but….Some issues were from previous guests not treating property as it should be but that’s where the upkeep needs to be takenEnjoyed our stay in the area overall and beautiful setting and views.
The overall stay was good. We were a bit dissapointed that there were no knives that were really suitable for food prep. (no non-serrated knieves to chop, peel etc.) and no collander (makes draining pasta a bit challenging). assortment of serving bowls was not great--seemed to be large, plastic dollar store type bowls--having a bath with each room was great--noone needed to wait on showers etc.We were there in December--better placement so easy to find of snow removal equipment would be better. We all ennjoyed the hot tub on property.

Location was perfect for our stay on side by side. But the driveway was quite tricky for 3 vehicles hauling trailers. It was steep and needs a little repair. The heated floors in the bathrooms were fabulous! The house was large and had a beautiful view of the river. The owner also allowed us to check in at 12pm instead of 3pm.However, the refrigerator was leaking and we had to take everything out a couple of times to dry it out. Also, upon trying to use the fireplace, realized there was no propane. We were told by owner that because of past renters he would not be supplying any propane and had actually removed the tank. One of the reasons we chose this rental was the ability to use the beautiful fireplace on a fall evening after a ride. In addition, when we went to use the barbecue, this propane tank was also empty! This rental was very over priced for amenities provided and the condition of the house. A previous review brought up similar issues and nothing seems to have been completed. The owner responded to our issues only with an apology and said he would “look into it”. We would not recommend this property at the listing price. They are asking a premium rate for a house that needs updating, repairs (window coverings broken, toilet running, carpets have ground in dirt) and are not providing listed amenities.Potentially a spectacular home but hasn’t been taken care of or updated. Very unfortunate

We did have several issues which I’m sure the Host would have attended to, time didn’t permit cleaners/exterminators to arrive.I would certainly recommend recent photos of interior and exterior.
We dealt with the inconvenience of a very active wasp nest, an ant infestation in the kitchen, overgrowth of weeds and damaged driveway.
On a positive the sleep surfaces were excellent and there was plenty of hot water - bring a few towels, other wise you will have to do laundry.
