Our stay was wonderful and very peaceful. The house had countless amentities and games for children. The host was very warm and welcoming. We also enjoyed walks to Galice Resort. Thank you for a wonderful stay we highly recommend the house.

Maureen, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope you had a wonderful time floating the lower end.Debbie
Spent just a couple nights but had a great time! Beautiful patio area overlooking creek. Easy creek access. The detached room was perfect for our friends to have their privacy. We also enjoyed the record player! Ate all meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed! Will definitely return.

Great Home
I’ve been a Noah’s River Trip customer for years so got a chance to get to know Sam. Absolutely loved staying here and it felt like home. Sitting in the Crystal clear Galice Creek was glorious after a kayak trip down the Rogue. Grateful for the air conditioning when it was hot outside and even got a chance to the propane fire when it cooled off. This home had everything we needed.
This is just what we were looking for. The house included thoughtful extras like coffee and a lovely bottle of wine. It sat just overlooking a creek, with plenty of areas to relax outside. It was perfect for the entire family.
We very much enjoyed this lovely spot. Creek was beautiful, shady, and perfect for a dip. House was well equipped and had lots of unexpected and welcome touches. Quiet and beautiful. The bonus suite was super appreciated by our teenager. Highly recommended.
We stayed 4 nights and it was wonderful. The pictures of this property don’t even do it justice. We loved getting away and disconnecting from the busy life and relaxing in such a beautiful area. Our only complaint is the A/C didn’t seem to work and it got pretty warm in the house.
We had an incredible family vacation staying at this property. It was convenient to the river rafting and river tours we took. There was plenty of room for our family with our teen son thrilled with the well-equipped guest house. The property was equipped with everything you could think of, but the absolute highlight was the creek! Our boys could explore and fish for hours in that creek. And the sound was so tranquil and relaxing. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I spent a week at this beautiful home. It is comfortable, peaceful, and serene. We got there just in time to watch the fall colors come in. Heaven is sitting by the creek in silence and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of this home. The beds were comfortable, the home was clean and well stocked, and both the owner and property manager were gracious. I loved the history of the property and being able to walk around the property was also very cool. Would absolutely stay here again.

What a quaint little mountain house
Had a great time here. You not only have plenty of space inside to entertain, but outside on their large patio, too! It’s so nice to be able to hear the creek down below when outside and in the bedrooms at night with window open. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Oh and Debbie the contact for the house was very helpful, too! And can’t forget Lou the caretaker also very helpful.
Quant and isolated. Great for unplugging.
Clean and well stocked. Comfortable and roomy. You could forget its the 21st century. The creek is amazing.
Parking was amazing. Covered and close to door.

Slice of heaven
We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin thank you for sharing your family’s happy place with us. All of our rafting trips were canceled because of the smoke (fire season)and we didn’t even care because the creek was all we needed(apparently the smoke wasn’t a thing up on galice rd)all you need is to blow up some tubes and kids splash around all day.. cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back again and again
This place was great! Very comfortable and the creek below and the outdoor patio was great! We slept with the doors and windows open just so we could here the creek below the house. Healthy big grey squirrels were around to watch on both sides of the creek. One note Lou the caretaker was great he introduced him self right away and let us know if we needed anything to let him know and he filled us in on a little of the history of this place.

2nd STAY HERE AT GALICE CREEK
My brothers and myself had a great time here again this year! This place is so comfortable and you feel like it is like your home with everything they have for there for that comfort. I have to say the new shower they installed is really nice and a definite up grade. The young one with us went and swam in the creek and used up some of that energy! It was a little cold, but he enjoyed it. Also always have to mention Lou the caretaker that always checks to make sure everything is good for us!
We absolutely loved our stay. The location is perfect for what I most needed…down time with peace and tranquility. This house is right on Galice Creek, and when you are outside, the soothing sound of the creek is almost the only thing you hear!
Debbie was super responsive when we had questions, and the caretaker, Lew, was nice when he came over to water the yard. There were several welcoming touches, which made it just a little extra special. One thing that was very much appreciated was a portable AC unit in the detached bedroom, as the warmth this time of year had been one thing I was concerned about. But we needn’t have worried…everything was perfectly comfortable!
The house is older, so be prepared for a few idiosyncrasies, but it just gave me a feeling of nostalgia and reminded me of my grandparents’ house!
The house is comfortable, the location is amazing, and you can remain as isolated as you want, or you aren’t too far from Grants Pass and various activities there.
We really enjoyed our stay!
The age and history of the house was really cool. It would be neat to have information on the old portraits (if they are associated with the property) or other "fun facts" around the house. The separate add-on room was convenient. We were able to give the teenagers the house (which they thought was the coolest thing ever) and we had our separate space. Morning coffee on that patio was the best way to start a vacation.
The creek was comfortable. We spent several hours just hanging out down there, swimming, rock hounding, and catching crawdads.
We also saw three shooting stars and one fire ball stargazing just up the BLM road.
We sure hope to back again soon.
We got in after dark so just wanted to inform others, that Google will say youre there a few hundred yards before the actual house. The house is the last one on the right, right before the bridge.
We loved this space! Excellent hosts and an amazing location. Quiet and remote, easy drive from town. We saw so many animals, deer, coyote, turkey, possum, and squirrel. We’ll definitly stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay! The location was so wonderful. It was so relaxing. The gift was amazing and the games were even better. I would definitely stay here again. They made sure we had plenty of wood for the fireplace and wood stove. You couldn't ask for a better location. I would definitely come back again.
My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Brought along the English mastiff. Nice house by the river. We especially enjoyed the outside space… covered patio even nice in the rain. The house was clean and comfortable and thoughtfully fitted out with just about anything you might need.
(The only minor problem was the sagging mattress on the larger bed. It could maybe be replaced, as it sleeps a bit like a bowl.)
Still, really enjoyed the property and hope to come back again.
