Beautiful property, so peaceful & quiet! Was a beautiful opportunity to get away from everything and take a real break from life dramas. The host is wonderful, so helpful & responsive & generous. Looking forward to returning in the future!

What a wonderful, private and quiet spot for a relaxing get away from the rat race! Close to beaches and cafes etc and the silence of nature … I think I had the best sleep of my life at Palmwoods Eco Escape! Thank you for hosting us Karleen

Well provided property

Very pleasant stay, had all the amenities we wanted. Check in and check out was very easy and it was a nice touch to have the eggs and milk in the fridge.

The property was exactly as described and the host, Karleen, was absolutely marvellous. She put 4 eggs and some honey from their bees out for us. Everything was taken care of: the fridge was running, there were plenty of towels, the bed was nicely made, toilet paper and kitchen utensils were plentiful. The house was really clean and inviting. We would love to stay there in the future. Thank you, Karleen!

Tumeric cottage is the perfect place to relax. It was quiet and secluded without being too far from conveniences. Lots of beautiful scenery and natural light inside. Hoping to book again in the future!

Such a great, quiet location, surrounded by trees. Had such an amazing time bird watching.Cabin was very clean and comfortable.Bed was amazingly comfy.Karleen makes you feel very welcome and supplies some homegrown touches.Will definitely return.

Turmeric Cottage is comfortable, private and a lovely place to relax. Karleen was a gracious and friendly host. We received limes from her tree, eggs from her chickens and milk on arrival. Would definitely stay there again.

Eco retreat

We were really happy with the location of the accommodation. The owners were excellent to deal with. It was so peaceful, even thought there was other accommodation on site you could not hear them which was really great. I would highly recommend this accommodation, locate you 30 minutes from the Maroochydore, so close to Montville and surrounds.

From the moment I decided to contact Karleen everything was exceptional. From making sure we were ok with arrival time, to meeting us & showing us our accomodation. The room was quant, clean & had cooking facilities. Would highly recommend a stay here

The property had a unique air to it as it not only was private within a rainforest setting, but filled with wildlife and gardens that the host was happy to walk us through to show her fruits and vegetables. We loved having free access to the whole property, our only regret is not having time to do the rainforest walk but we're very intent on returning again!

A lovely, cosy cottage stay

Everything was just right when I stayed in this little cottage in the forest. The cabin is well appointed and the fresh, organic eggs in the fridge are a welcome bonus. I loved the environmental aspects that are everywhere on this property. I felt very much at home and that was also thanks to the lovely hosts who are delightful people. If you want nature, quiet, fresh air and comfort then this is the place for you. It is not too far from all the excellent places to be found in the Sunny Coast Hinterland if you can drag yourself away from the cottage.

Private and quiet

It was a lovely, clean and private cabin with a new aircon. It's conveniently located. The only problem was that the place had a lot of kind of weird medium sized cockroaches. We killed about 6 adults and about 20 tiny ones. I wouldn't stay again unless this issue is dealt with. I meant to mention it at the end of the trip but forgot.
