Fantastic house for a big group. The kitchen was fairly well stocked which allowed us to cook dinner each night since it’s hard to find a restaurant in Ucluelet during the busy season. We loved the bright family room and the kids enjoyed the view from the hot tub.
Perfect for 2 families. Clean, comfortable, and great hosts. Hot tub was amazing, and we appreciated the binoculars to watch the bald eagles who live in a nearby tree.
Great trip! Nice spot just outside of Ucluelet. Charles’ place was home base for us and it was very comfortable. He was very responsive and accommodating leading up to the trip and while we were there. Some cool wildlife watching across the bay too!

The house inside was excellent, 4 fairly big bedroom, 4 bathroom were clean and big
Nice kitchen, the only thing I suggest is you need a couple of side tables for drinks in the living room
Hot tub and outside patio was very nice
This was a great house, great location, and a kick ass view. We saw a bear across the point from the house just hanging out, and then watched him swim to the other side - all while sitting in the hot tube. To be far, there’s some soft wood around the deck and property that could be replaced, but the inside of the house was great, and Charles is an awesome host!

Listing needs to be updated
We were a group of 5 adults and found there was room for us to be comfortable in the home.
The listing states there are 3 full bathrooms and we were only allowed access to 2 full bathrooms and the half bathroom.
The pictures of the property don't reflect the outside condition of the home and property.
During our stay, there was a heavy rainfall which resulted in water drips in the ceiling of one of the upstairs bedrooms and in the kitchen. The owner quickly responded and came to the home to ensure we didn't need any additional containers to contain the water (we used our own bins to catch the drips). The amount of rain and wind were beyond his control and it was appreciated he responded quickly to a phone call.
During the visit to the home, we also let him know about the lights inside and outside of the home that needed to be replaced. He said he would be back in a few hours to do this however this didn't happen during our stay. Having the outside lights working would have been helpful as he had warned us there was a bear visiting the property which we saw.
When we first turned on the tv, a signal wasn't available. Once it was connected to the internet, it worked although other guests may find it helpful to bring their own login information for options such as Netflix, Disney, etc.
Overall, it is a reasonable home to stay in however we felt the pricing was a bit high for the condition of the home and the property.
