We would like to inform you that as we transition into the spring and summer season, starting from April 1st, our fireplace will be temporarily turned off and inaccessible. This change is in line with our seasonal maintenance schedule and aims to ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities.

Please note that the fireplace will remain unavailable throughout the spring and summer months but will be turned back on by October 1st.

Comfortable getaway

It was great for our family stay. The only thing to be mindful of is the driveway is steep and there are some pot holes in the driveway as well.

High Hill

We booked the cabin for my grand daughters cheer competition While the description states Hill Top Retreat it does not accurately provide the details regarding the driveway getting up to the property I have a new AWD SUV and mid way up the hill was a large hole in the driveway which I went off road to avoid. After getting around the hole my tires spun to get the rest of the way up which I did not do. I turned around mid way and headed back down. I did advise the owner that we could not get up the hill and they were quick to respond. While the rental liiked nice and I would have loved to stay o recommend having a vehicle that can accommodate the hill

Needs Improvement

This cabin was remodeled fast with cheap hotel furniture and needs more work done to be appropriate and safe for people to use. Cons: 1. No stair rails except in garage which is normally not accessible to guests but happened to be unlocked so my mom could use it. 2. Cheap furniture that wobbles and feels like one could break it easily. 3. Beds really low and have no box spring. Bad for older knees. 4. Cleanliness: our feet were always dirty from floor, found used enema under bathroom sink in master bedroom, dirty shower curtain. 5. WASPS were in the sun room leading to porch living room so we were unable to access for half of stay. 6. Guest logins for tv apps were not available. You have to use your own or have no tv. Remember to log yourself out when you leave. 7. Flooring is very loud and creaky especially at night when someone goes to bathroom. Pros: 1. Location, close to parkway. I’m still waiting to hear from management about any compensation for not being able to use most of the living space related to the wasps that kept coming in the sun room leading to the porch living room. I will not stay here again.

Hill from He!!

The house was roomy enough for all of us(we had 4 in our party). The master bedroom was in need of a good shampoo, or just new carpet. The sheets on the beds (I’m a sheet snob😉) & mattress on all the beds were great, however they need box springs. The beds were basically on the floor, and nearly impossible for someone who has bad knees to get in or out of. The house is close to all attractions and is only about a 10 minute drive. The other drawback to this place is the driveway. It is very steep, with a couple of potholes that makes it very hard on your vehicle. I drive a Ford Edge, and it rained a little prior to us arriving home for the evening. My vehicle struggled to get up the hill. The tires were spinning and I thought I was going to have to back all the way off the hill (which is extremely steep and in a curve). Not a good situation. The driveway definitely needs repaired. The master bathroom shower needs some repair as well, the water just trickles out of the shower head. Not enough water pressure to wash shampoo out of your hair. The other bathroom had plenty of water pressure so the second night everyone showered there. Mattress & sheets great. House was clean & overall we enjoyed our time here. The process to check in & out were great. The responsiveness of the property manager was very quick.
