I loved this property! It was safe, clean and in a great location. My only negative comment is that the app we used to get in the building and work the elevator was inconsistent in its usability for my group. There were 4 of us and it worked great for 2 of us, intermittent for 1 and worked only occasionally for 1.
The check in process was easy. We arrived early and they stored our bags so we could explore until check in time. The location was great. Walkable to the capital and in between 2 METRA stops. It was a block and a half away from a grocery store. The apartment was comfortable with 3 beds including a pull out couch. My son said the pull out was comfortable. The kitchen was spacious with very basic supplies. The gym was one of the nicest we’ve used. The rooftop pool/deck was a great place to spend time after seeing the sights. We spent many hours in the activity room watching tv and playing pool. There was plenty of room for several groups to use the activity room without feeling like we were encroaching on each other. We will stay here again if we come back to DC.
My husband and I stayed 3 nights in a 2BD/2BA with our 2 sons (6.5 and 1.5). The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The building is well-located in a hip, recently gentrified area with plenty of public transit and restaurants. We had a few small issues with the room, but I received a call from CSR Bushra the day after we returned and we discussed them - I have full confidence that the things that can be fixed will be. These bumps did not ruin our overall experience and we would definitely stay in this property again.
We arrived to this beautiful facility only to not be given access to the elevator, front door, etc. The property uses a Latch Key system and the only access we had was to our room. We we finally made it to our room, we entered only to find other people staying in our room. It was horrible. Our code opened their room. The property managers found another room for us but it was only a 2 bedroom/2 bath. No price adjustment, no refund. I had originally paid for a 2 bd/2bath. It took almost 4 hours to check into our room. Horrible process. They’ve only been open for 6 months, but should have a better system in place for not allowing other people to walk into someone’s room or give them access to someone’s room. Beautiful/safe facility. Hopefully, they will they are still new and will have a smoother process in the future.
It looked as advertised but the responsiveness (and even vague answers) from the host on Day 1 slowed down our enjoyment & caused us to sit around and wait for the answers to gain the access we needed. Thankfully, we had access to a lobby, as we waited with our suitcases, for about an hour. Yes, even though our flight arrived in the morning, we were told we'd be unable to check in early. So we went to brunch & found fun things to do. The correspondence I received designated 3:45p as the check-in time allowed, so at that time we made our way to the location. Although the address was sent before we left & the entry door code to the hotel/condo building was sent just before 3:45p, at 4:15p I still had not received ANY OTHER check-in details. The front desk clerk had a tizzy of an attitude and did NOT help. As she helped residents of the building and other guests, she referred me to the vrbo host, who responded poorly. She said she had NO information regarding me or my unit. It took me sending individual requests for each item we needed - apt #, elevator code, etc - as we discovered they were needed. I had additional questions that the host was also slow to answer. I chose this vrbo property & host to host my girls' trip with two dear friends. We all needed a peaceful getaway. This was not the introduction to the week we needed. Since the host creates the moment (and who knows what service I'll get), I will decidedly not use this host again as I return to the DC area.
