EXCELLENT location and an absolutely charming cabin. Perfect for our birthday girl's trip. Beds were very comfortable, good shower, sweet welcome gifts, and easy communication with Mindy. Just such a relaxing little get away! We will be back for sure. You feel as though you are deep in the country with the owls and deer running across the yard, but you are SO CLOSE to all the shops and restaurants! We walked 5 minutes and we were at a table eating. Cannot beat that convenience. A

Cypress Creek house

Beautiful property with plenty of space in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the town square. Hilda, the property manager was extremely helpful and easy to contact.

Never diassapoints

This is my 4th time staying in the cottage! So peaceful and wonderful as usual! Only had an issue with the keypad and was remedied with the spare key, and the string lights shorted out and need some attention! Overall, such a relaxing stay with everything you could need!

Annual Trip

This is our 3rd or 4th time at Austin Cottage. It’s our favorite house on Wimberly. Location of perfect for any group of people. Close to water and the town center. To say this is my family and friends happy place would be an understatement. Too many memories to tell. Thanks for having us again.

Last Minute Spring Break Getaway

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway at the end of Spring Break with the kids. Small and quaint, this little house had more than enough room for our family of 5 and super comfortable beds. It was also within walking distance of downtown Wimberly and all the shops and restaurants. It was a bit cold and rainy, so we didn't get to enjoy the river as much as we would have liked,but it was very pretty and we enjoyed having coffee by the river in the mornings. We would definitely stay here again.

Blanco Cabin

We’ve stayed here a few times and we love it but this time there were a couple of negatives. The kitchen has major sugar ant problem, nothing could be left on the counter for any amount of time. The second thing, not as big of a deal but the tv didn’t really work, could not change the channel from a news station. A smart tv would be nice but, we don’t go here to watch tv.

Just like old times

My family and I had a fantastic stay to celebrate my dad’s 73rd birthday. Interestingly enough, the first time my dad came to this cabin was 40 years ago when his friend’s family owned the cabin. I grew up coming to this cabin every summer for years and it holds some of my most favorite memories. The bonus is, now the cabin has air condition! The cabin is perfectly located near the square, is tranquil with deer, blue herons, and even an otter wandering around the property. As we were packing up to go we were already looking forward to the next trip back to the cabin. The cabin is clean, cool, has perfect views of the Cypress creek and is only a short walk to where the Cypress Creek meets the Blanco River. One of the guests thought they left a bag in the bathroom and Hilda who we rented the cabin from, responded quickly to my inquire about it and was willing to mail it back to us immediately. I couldn’t recommend this cabin more! This cabin is very special to my family and we look forward to making many more memories there.
