Experience the feeling of being surrounded by trees in this updated family home. You may be lucky enough to see a deer or moose stroll on by.
It is a unique home in that while it is handicap accessible in some respects (1 bathroom and a ramp), on the other hand there are steps down to the living room. The large kitchen and outside porch adds to the convenience and ease. Kids will love the bunkbeds and papasan chair. Guests enjoy the convenient zero-entry large shower. The designated workspace is appreciated.
Finding a vacation home with air-conditioning in the summer, and easy access to snowmobile trails in the winter, is truly a hidden gem.

Animals: Welcome to the Moose Capital of Michigan! Moose, deer, bear, squirrels, chipmunks, and wolves are common in the area.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let me know, and I'll make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases and bath towels.
Parking: There is ample parking available, with 4 trucks with trailers fitting comfortably at the property
Pets: Two dogs are welcome during your stay. Freshwater Vacation Rentals currently charges $75/per pet for your entire stay. Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside the cabin. Plus, if you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to sleep on. Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we'll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. Plus, if the pet hair starts to build, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.
Privacy: There is a neighbor on one side, with the tree line going between the houses.

Televisions: There are three Smart TVs at the property.
Towels: All bath and kitchen towels will be provided during your stay. Please bring beach towels with you!

Great little spot for a larger family that likes to spend a little time at the house and a little time exploring. The kitchen is nicely stocked with utensils and the house is kept very clean along with a huge amount of room for snow gear. We didn't need it but it was a wonderful way to spend a week!
