You want a getaway from the city , or just traveling through for a sporting event or do you want to visit the lake 2 minutes up the road . Maybe you want to be on a hiking trail down the road 5 minutes or mountain biking with too many choices within 15 min. Either way this seperate Carriage house is a mountain getaway full on Nature and relaxation. Have your own 1400 sq/ft home to relax. Better than a hotel I would say!

Wedding Weekend

We stayed here on my wedding weekend with my bridesmaids and John was such an amazing host! The place was awesome and close to our venue and had everything we needed. Great stay! Would highly recommend.

Quiet getaway

We had a very nice Easter Long Weekend here. We used this place as a base while we visited family in Mission and the surrounding area. The yard and location were great for our boys who thoroughly enjoyed the basketball and tennis court. The unit itself was clean and very well laid out. John made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place and will absolutely return if in the area again.Great stay!

Fantastic, comfortable and peaceful stay!

We recently had a stay at the Mountain Retreat. The rental was clean, well appointed with every amenity you would need at home, including soft, high quality bedding, a cozy fireplace and a kitchen with all the tools for a proper meal. Will be recommending to family and friends. 5 stars all round!

Retreat

Property was wonderful; quiet and peaceful. The house was perfect and met all of our needs. The Hosts were the best… this is truly a mountain retreat worth returning to in the future.

Great stay

John and his family are great hosts. They have a beautiful property and were very welcoming of our family. Lots to do around where they live including Golden Ears Park, Cultus Lake Waterpark, even downtown Van is only a SkyTrain away after driving in a bit. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful stay

My bridesmaids and myself stayed here for 2 days for my wedding in September. The hosts were so accommodating and very communicative. John was very sweet and brought us another mirror for us to all get ready the day of. The property is beautiful and quiet and the beds were super comfy too! I will be suggesting to others to stay here if they’re in the area!!

Awesome country house with very attentive hosts! My family of 6 enjoyed our stay outside the hustle of the city, giving us time to recharge between trips to Vancouver, Whistler and Washington. Host was responsive and left some nice arrival gifts. The pets on the property were a bonus for my kids. Great stay!

Great getaway

We were very happy with our stay. There is so much to do around this location. Hiking, lakes, biking and more. We even spent a day just at the property and enjoyed tennis pickle ball and relaxing. Our whole family enjoyed this great place!

Great Location

This was the second time we booked the cottage, we like it that much. If you want a quiet location that's near lots of parks and lakes this will be ideal for you. The cottage is kept immaculately and the host is attentive to your specific needs. We have booked again for next summer. I hope Bailey the husky will be there to greet us next year!

Perfect!

We were delighted with our accomodation. It was spacious, clean, modern and secure. The setting was beautiful and the opportunity to play tennis was a real hit with the kids and adults too. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway 👌

If you are looking for a getaway without need of dealing with ferries, this is the best destination! Close to the city but peaceful and quiet. Beautiful property and wonderful, caring hosts! We will be defenatly coming back :)

Peaceful guest house

We loved using the tennis court, petting the big husky and being surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was not usable and the water was not potable, but the beds were comfortable and it had everything else we needed. The host was very helpful and responsive. Would stay again!

The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The unit itself was beautifully done and exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a weekend of mountain biking with a couple buddies or just a quiet getaway you will not be disappointed.
