About this property

Casa de Flamingos * Neighborhood living close to the Malecon

Casa de Flamingos offers soaring ceilings, bountiful natural light, and multiple outdoors spaces where you can relax, socialize, and drink in the sun. You'll find patios, gardens, balconies, an open-concept living space and a rooftop that will draw you to it both day and night. Whether you're a large family or friends vacationing together, Casa de Flamingos is set up perfectly for you.

BEDROOMS: Two king suites with private balconies. One queen with patio access. If you’re looking for comfort, privacy, and elegance, look no further.

BATHROOMS: Three full bathrooms—one shared on the first floor, two private on the second floor. Each bathroom is supplied with hand soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner, which you’ll certainly need to wash off all that saltwater and sand.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Small patio and garden in front. Large patio and garden out back, with plentiful seating. Expansive rooftop with varied hangout areas, sun chairs, and umbrellas. You’ll hear these vibrant outdoor spaces calling to you in the full brilliance of the day and in the twinkling darkness of the night. Enjoy yourself!

KITCHEN: Fully stocked with pots, pans, and everything else you need to cook and serve a meal. Basic spices, salt, sugar, oil, and (of course) hot sauce. Both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee, as well as an assortment of teas. Eating out in Mazatlán is a favored pastime, but this kitchen makes eating in equally pleasurable—especially when you serve the meal on the back patio or the rooftop. Don’t forget to grab fruits and veggies—so fresh—from any of the nearby markets!

LIVING ROOM: A cool and comfy place to relax after spending a few hours in the perfect Mazatlán sun. Smart TV with Roku available, so you can sign into all your favorite platforms. (This TV is BYOL: Bring Your Own Login.) The living room is also a great place to gather to play board games, piece together a puzzle, or converse over chilled drinks.

GARAGE: Can hold one car. Bicycles.

LAUNDRY ROOM: Washer and dryer available.

HIGH-SPEED WIFI: Yep … we all know we need it!

BEACH: Only a four-minute walk away! A tunnel on Calle Flamingos leads directly to the beach, sidestepping (or under stepping) the need to cross the Malecón. This long stretch of beach has something for everyone: quiet for the relaxers, live music for the peppy, food for the hungry, and soft-bottomed sea for everyone.

MALECÓN: Three blocks from Casa de Flamingos, the Malecón boardwalk spans between the Historic Center and the Golden Zone. At thirteen miles long, the Malecón is one of the longest seafront walkways … in the world! Whether you turn north or south, the Malecón holds tantalizing offers: souvenirs, food, art installations, people-watching, and more. Along the Malecón are also many bus stops, which will cheaply and speedily transport you to the Historic Center or the Golden Zone.

HISTORIC CENTER: Plaza Machado is a leisurely walk or bicycle ride through the centro (1.5 miles) or a more scenic stroll along the Malecón (2.2 miles) or a very quick and cheap ride in a pulmonia/taxi. In the Historic Center, you’ll find the quaintest shops, the most delicious restaurants, and streets that reveal splendors at every corner.

GOLDEN ZONE: A 3.2-mile walk along the beach or the Malecón. This surf-side excursion is a must-do for those who love spending their days on their feet. The Golden Zone has a very different, and complementary, vibe from the Historic Center: where the Historic Center is placid, the Golden Zone is buzzing; where the Historic Center is traditional, the Golden Zone is modern. Each pole of Mazatlán has something unique to offer, and you will find that you are perfectly situated to reap the benefits of both when you stay at Casa de Flamingos.
