Our peaceful sanctuary is located right next door to the famous Fitzgerald biosphere & national park. Explore the park, take a short walk to the beach, go for a fish or drive to town 5 mins away.

Peaceful stay near the beach

My dalmatian and I had a lovely stay here on our roadtrip around the southwest. We loved being able to run down to the beach and wander and only saw one other person there! A couple of minutes from Hopetoun town and bakery, cafe, beach, etc and a couple of hours drive to Esperance. Thank you for a peaceful stay 😊

A quiet spot near amazing coast!

Was the perfect spot with private walks to a beach all to ourselves. Nice big block and yard area. Everything you need in the home. Generous and accomodating host. Would love to get back there.

Perfect place

Surounded by blooming kangaroo paws within the warmth of this place and its people its a stand out. The Fizgerald National park is close with its wonders apparent as is Hopetoun and its welcoming people. Our host Venus is remarkable and warm - thank you

nice property and very quiet. A suggestion: A house number would make it easier to find. Addition of a corkscrew would be nice. Luckily we had another bottle with a screw cap handy.🙂

Absolutely loved my stay at this little gem! The house was styled beautifully, plenty of little touches. Loved the furniture. Well equipped stylish kitchen. Even a few surprises in the fridge ! Such a wonderful space

We had such a wonderful time at Whale Bay Bush Retreat. We wanted someone quiet and relaxing to switch off and this was just that. It's a short stroll to 4 mile beach and the town centre is a quick drive down the road. We have a 6yo and he loved the park in town with a bouncy pillow. We also spent the afternoon exploring Fitzgerald River National Park, which was 10 minutes away. Venus' home is calming and very much has the vibe we were after. Thank you, Venus, for such a lovely trip. We will definitely be back!

Overall the house was fine. If I could make any suggestions first would be to put a street number on the road. Pets were allowed but it wasn’t specified that they were not allowed inside and though it had a enclosed yard there was no shelter for the dogs.

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und bietet nebst einem gemütlichen Aussenbereich auch im Haus viel Platz für bis zu 6 Personen. Die beiden Schlafzimmer haben einen direkten Zugang zu je einem WC, was sehr praktisch ist, allerdings haben beide WCs kein Lavabo, was sehr unpraktisch ist. Bei Wind knarrt das Haus ziemlich laut. Auch das Bett im kleineren Schlafzimmer quietscht bei jeder Bewegung, was einen erholsamen Schlaf leider nicht zuliess.
