Essentials are close by too, with Foodland and IGA supermarkets less than 5 minutes away, as well as pharmacies, butchers, fishmonger, bottle shops, hairdressers & a petrol station. There are also some local ovals, a skate park and tennis courts nearby in case you’d like to enjoy them. The Linear Park walk/bike path is also in nearby.
Getting Around:
Getting around in the area is really easy. A 3-4 minute walk will get you to the beach or to Henley Square (Google maps says its 3mins to the beach!) There is a walking/bike path along the coastline so you can enjoy going for a walk or run in either direction ...or stroll and get a coffee along the way! If you walk out our front gate to the bus stop nearby, you can head to the city or West Lakes shopping centre very easily. Bus tickets can be bought from the local Foodland at Henley Square. Driving in the area is also very easy - you can drive along the coast or into the city. The property is also a 10 minute walk (or 4minute pushbike ride) to the Linear Park bike/walk way which is path that can take you into the city and the north eastern suburbs. There is also a local council library and local RSL club near Henley Square if of interest.

We're happy to provide extra fans in summer and a heater during winter as needed. Just let us know.
Please note: We also just want to be 'up front' and be clear for your expectations: While we are nice and close to Henley Square (5-7min walk) and the beach (3-4min walk), and close to bus routes, please bear in mind the unit is a street back from the beach (not esplanade)…. and it is a small 1 br unit positioned to the rear of our property. It is not large and does not have great views or lovely garden vistas. While it has a courtyard solely for your use, it is small and a major portion is under the stairs for the upstairs units and therefore is not private, given that people regularly use the stairs… BUT with that all said, the unit is nice, well maintained, secure, in a quiet location, and does provide a very convenient, comfortable, self contained & cosy base from which to have your holiday. We don’t want to put you off , we just don’t want you expecting luxurious sea views or large living areas!! … If you want those, you might need to book a different place :). But if you like photos of our unit and if our place sounds like the right fit for your trip, you are very welcome to book & stay! We would love to host you.
Please note we require a copy of your drivers licence or passport upon booking as part of confirming your ID.
The guest name and ID must match the credit card used for payment. If you are booking on someone else’s behalf, then we will require your ID in addition to the guests.
