Wonderful Stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay as this beautiful home. We used it as a staging point for a family event in town and it was perfect. The house was very clean, the fridge was well stocked with drinks and even breakfast goodies. We will definitely stay here again if in town!

Great stay in Salado

In town to celebrate a family member's high school graduation. The location was perfect with easy access to the restaurants on Royal Street. Loved sharing morning coffee with the cows in the meadow over the back fence! Wonderful hospitality!

A great place to get away.

Really enjoyed the peacefulness and the beauty. Our daughter and her family came for Thanksgiving dinner and our group fit nicely for the day. The flow of the house was great. The host thought of everything that we may need and did not have to leave to go to the store. Would stay here again.

One of our favorite places to stay

We've stayed at plenty of rentals through the years with different experiences; this is one of the best properties we enjoy. From lovely fresh-cut flowers, a welcoming handwritten note accompanying a nice bottle of wine with background music playing, plenty of snacks and stocked fridge/pantry/cookware, comfortable beds, countryside setting and the wonderful scent of tea roses in front. We look forward to renting this place again when we come back soon; it is one of our most favorite places to stay and the hosts are very responsive and caring.

We got married here in salado this weekend and had the pleasure of staying in this cute cottage home. The home owners welcomed us with a special treat. Which was very appreciative. Thank you: It was so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Very cozy. Would recommend to anyone out of town traveling.

Very nice place!

The house was great, couches and beds were comfortable, and the owner kindly left an assortment of soft drinks and juices in the fridge for us to enjoy! The only suggestion I have is to cut a few small branches on the driveway as they hang low and rubbed the top of my truck, nothing serious but a little annoying. Overall a great place to stay!

Charming Cottage

Blackberry Roost is a welcoming cottage tucked away in a clearing, surrounded by trees with a cow pasture blooming with spring flowers to gaze upon in the back. Comfy sofas, bedding, pillows, towels, and a well-stocked kitchen. Our 7 year old grandson discovered Yahtzee among the selection of board games which we played no less than a dozen times. Thank you for your generous hospitality, we loved our stay!

Absolutely Perfect!

This pristine and secluded little cottage is the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It truly is charming. The decor is tasteful and comfortable. The kitchen is supplied with everything you could possibly need in addition to things you would never expect to be provided in a rental. Amy goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay will be wonderful. This is a must go to house when you are staying in this area. It is truly a house you will want to visit again.

The owners of this cottage have thought out ever detail including every door knob, bed, light switch, blanket, piece of furniture, etc. From the moment you walk in you feel the relaxing comfort of this cottage. It was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend with friends. The fully functioning kitchen made cooking a breeze. It was even stocked with a few pantry items, drinks and all the coffee we needed for an amazing weekend! We enjoyed watching the cows in the neighboring field, from the back porch, and warmed up at the chimenea outdoor fire pit in the evening. Don't pass up the opportunity to escape to this little hidden gem!

Deep in the HEART of Texas

This property is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away in a grove of lush woods, it is so peaceful. The home itself is warm and inviting. Great care has gone into updating this ranch house while keeping the original charm. The décor is welcoming and in just the right amounts. Covered front and back porches are just delightful for morning coffee. Two bedrooms with comfortable beds, and top notch linens. Plenty of seating options in the living room and sitting room with very comfortable furniture. Kitchen is abundantly stocked. Amy seemed to anticipate everything that we could want or need. We were there for the eclipse, and she had “eclipse themed” goodies for us which were so fun and much appreciated! Honestly, the communication with Amy was phenomenal—I have never had so much friendly contact with an owner. A very caring, thoughtful, wonderful owner! Don’t hesitate—rent this! You will love it too!

2 couples getaway

This is a darling house, nicely decorated and situated in a quiet area. Not too far from restaurants and shopping. The hosts had thought of everything, even leaving us wine, snacks, drinks and coffee bar. We had a really great time and highly recommend it.
