My husband Dave and I along with our daughter have relocated to the Wairarapa from a lifestyle block in North Auckland. We spent a lot of time here in the Wairarapa when we lived in Wellington and it was the natural choice when relocating back to Wellington for work. We have a variety of lifestyle block pets here. From farm dogs to ponies there is plenty to get your animal fix with.

Why they chose this property

We have always wanted an older style home with character and we love the indoor/outdoor flow along with the views of the Tararuas on one side and the Eastern hills on the other. It is a very peaceful place to live. We also have access to Mt Holdsworth and the wonderful river to swim in and walks to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

We have some wonderful things to do in the Wairarapa. Wineries, shopping in Greytown, restaurant's, weekend markets at Solway, Masterton and Carterton, Mt Holdsworth Pizzeria (by booking in advance only), hiking, mountain biking, museums, coastlines to explore from Castlepoint and Riversdale to Lake Ferry and Cape Palliser and their seal colony and light house walks. There is also the Pinnacles walk. There is so much to do here and explore.
