This private gated retreat on 33 acres has stunning panoramic ocean, multi-island and mountain views. This designer home features lava rock construction and Kiawe tree columns. This Upcountry Hideaway is perfect for couples, writers and artists, and families. It will only take you 20 minutes to get to the beach and an hour and 15-minutes to get Haleakala Crater and 5 minutes to Alii Lavender Farm, from this romantic spot and the cool high country breezes will make your nights blissful. It is also where you want to be to take the spectacular back route to Hana.

The property is surrounded by pasture land and historic lava rock. walls to complete this idyllic property. Upcountry is exceptional for hiking, running, mountain and road biking, paragliding, riding zip lines, horseback riding and relaxing!

Overall nice, however..

Nice villa, however, the clothes dryer was not working and there was a mouse and mice droppings on the duvet cover and kitchen counters. The property manager did catch the mouse but the clothes dryer issue wasn’t resolved due to wrong size dryer purchased.

Fantastic retreat

We had an amazing stay and really appreciated the communication to ensure we were comfortable. I was on a bit of a working trip and we spent most of our time enjoying the north shore and upcountry. This property is private and the views are mesmerizing. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Kula Stay

Our stay at the Kula Villa was amazing. It was our first time in the upcountry and it did not disappoint. There is so much to see and do in the upcountry and you are only 30 minutes from the Kihei and Wailea areas. The Kula Villa is a beautiful home with the best views of the valley and both bays. Debra was an A+ host. I recommend the Kula Villa to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas.

Authentic Upcountry Maui

We wanted to stay somewhere special for our 30th anniversary, and this was it! You will not find a property like this anywhere else on the island. The villa feels like a resort with the private outdoor spaces and views that go on forever. Very clean and well-appointed. Thank you Debra !

Wonderful place!

We loved our week at Kula Villa. Beautiful views, peaceful and all of the amenities you would need. We really enjoyed staying in upcountry and away from the main tourist areas. Would love to stay here again!
