This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway by the river! The spacious 2500sf cottage is situated on a stunning 2 acre land with plenty of privacy, peace & quiet. This luxurious clean 4 bedroom (2 king beds) 3 full bathroom cottage has been newly renovated with modern touches while still capturing that cottage essence we all love. It features an outdoor hot tub, fire pit, game room, and much more. This cottage is located on a municipal road which is maintained year round by the town. During the winter months the snow is plowed regularly by the town.

Rest and relaxation awaits you! A great retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

The property exceeded our expectations. The property is breathtaking and well layed out with multiple areas for fun to be had. The inside games room and Tiki bar area is another great space with something for everyone. The whole house has a cozy feel. Again well layed out and plenty of spaces for people to gather. The bedrooms were comfortable and everything was clean. The whole property was peaceful and welcoming, it felt like home.

Great winter weekend in Muskoka

This was a terrific place to spend a winter weekend with a group of friends. The house was great- very clean and well supplied, including basements games and a delightful hot tub. It was a great location for enjoying nearby snowshoeing, cross country skiing and skating.

A Getaway...

To be honest, we were planning on playing a bunch of games that were provided in the basement but we spent most of our time outside in the jacuzzi, the firepit and the nice spacious backyard. The creek in the back was amazing and beautiful, even has a nice waterfall upstream. Overall a great trip to get away from the city.

Check in was seamless. Easy access and a great start to our stay. The kitchen could use a few extra’s such as some emergency items like ziploc bags, plastic wrap, foil, food storage containers. Wifi was spotty. Working at times and not at others. Our greatest concern was it states riverfront, however, it doesn’t mention the drop to the river is quite steep and 1/2 of us didn’t feel comfortable making the drop. So every day we had to venture out to hit a spot to swim and fish and launch a canoe and kayak. Also with the lack of rain the river was about 2 feet high in the middle. This is no one’s fault but greater clarity should be mentioned in the booking. I soecifixally asked if we could fish in the river.

Charming Cottage Getaway

I recently stayed at this lovely cottage and would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. The cleanliness was impressive, and the host's warm welcome made me feel right at home. The cottage itself had a charming ambiance and provided a comfortable stay. However, I did encounter a minor inconvenience with a high number of mosquitoes outdoors, which caused some trouble and disrupted the enjoyment of the surrounding nature. Overall, the positive aspects of the cottage, including its cleanliness and the host's hospitality, outweighed this issue. With a little improvement in managing the mosquito population, it would be an even more enjoyable getaway.

This cottage is surrounded by natural landscape, river, waterfalls and some wild life. This is a very quite neighbourhood and sound travels easily so respecting our neighbours peace & quiet is priority. Our intention is to share our space with you to disconnect from all the "noise & busyness" to appreciate the stillness in nature for a quite retreat.

Northern Necessities convenience store only 14 minutes away. Loblaws, Food Basics, Canadian Tire, LCBO, Walmart, Home Depot, Dollarama. Restaurant & Bars available in Bracebridge town.

Many nearby hiking trails to be found on AllTrails App. Santas Village, Sawdust & Muskoka Brewery, Sir Sam's Ski. Restaurants with incredible views. Please check our guidebook for more details.
