Great stay!
I hate to leave a positive review for places I really enjoy because I want it to be available in the future when I need it, but the property deserves a positive review. My wife and I were in town to visit our daughter, who lives about two blocks from this unit, so the location was perfect for us. But more than being convenient to our daughter, the unit is convenient to restaurants, stores, bars, etc. in a very desirable area of Winnipeg. The unit itself was very comfortable and well-appointed. There was little clutter, and some very useful add-ons, such as a Keurig coffeemaker, washer and dryer, and TV with several streaming options. One add-on was invaluable for us: a multi-port charging cable was absolutely a lifesaver for me. I'd forgotten the charging cable for my hearing aids, and the charger thankfully plugged into the charging unit. I couldn't have been more relieved. Also, the manager was very patient with us when it turns out we were parked in the wrong spot for two nights. To be fair, the spot was not well marked, and we chose wrong because we arrived at 11:00 p.m., the area was not well-lit, and it was the day after a big snow storm so everything was covered with snow and ice. We ended up parking at the wrong building--a building that was identical to the one we were staying in. We were so fortunate that the manager tracked us down and told us about our mistake. More importantly, the people whose spot we took were SO patient, leaving a note on our car (which we didn't see for two days because we didn't travel anywhere) and somehow contacting the manager, who then contacted us. They could have simply called the towing company, which would have ruined our trip, but instead were so patient and kind. The unit is very well laid out: tastefully decorated and spacious with lots of light from the two walls of windows. The bedroom was spacious with a wonderful closet that provided plenty of space for luggage, clothes, etc. The bed is spacious but hard. I think it's a memory-foam mattress that sinks in a little after you lie on it. It's high quality--just not the type I would buy. The bathroom was fine. The drains were a little slow, but otherwise, the towels were wonderfully soft, and there was bath gel and shampoo/conditioner provided. The living room furniture was comfortable and very functional. The only downside is that the ceiling/floor insulation is very thin so you can hear the upstairs tenant walking around.

Alaina in the village
I really enjoyed this property! It was homey and comfortable. The location was very easy to get to. If I can suggest anything for longer term visitors they need to add a toaster and some baking sheets for cooking. I stayed 2 weeks and I was missing only those items. Having laundry and all the extras was really a plus when traveling for work on longer stays. I would defiantly stay here again!

Clean but Noisy
I absolutely loved this place as soon as I walked in. Clean, great communication with the host and well equipped. I actually booked a second stay…but cancelled shortly after. Unfortunately the noise from upstairs was very disturbing. You could hear everything. The building didn’t seem to be well soundproofed so I could hear very loud footsteps, a dog barking, a daytime birthday party. I was there for a short business trip so getting work done while I was there was disrupting. If you aren’t bothered by noise coming from the upstairs and the side stairs, then this place is a very nice stay. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, I just would like people to know ahead of booking what they may encounter.

Why they chose this property

Osborne Village has long been known for its food, shopping and hip neighbourhood. Change is inevitable - and while many businesses and restaurants have come and gone through the years, the strip is being revitalized with a host of great new boutiques and eateries. It is is known for its colorful street murals and the Gas Station Arts Centre, staging improv and stand-up comedy, plus burlesque and puppet shows for adults. Indie shops sell quirky fashion, handmade jewelry, and vintage vinyl. Chill gastropubs, high-end tapas bars, and artisan pizzerias dot the area, while swanky lounges serve creative cocktails and cozy dive bars host local bands
