If you want to stay local, everything you need is around you—grocery, cafes, restaurants, dry cleaning, 24/7 store, and more.
If you love the beach, JBR is 10 minutes away and Kite Beach is 15 minutes away all by taxi.
For shopping, the main malls are close by. Marina Mall is across the road and Mall of the Emirates and Ibn Battuta Mall are all within 15 minutes from JLT.
Getting Around:
Uber and Careem are options for booking a taxi if you want to easily travel around Dubai.
If you enjoy long walks and would like to explore the rest of Dubai through a metro station or a bus, there is a nearby bus stop where JLT 2 bus goes around JLT if you simply want to roam within the area. The DMCC metro station is only a 4-minute walk. The Dubai metro system can get you from one end to another of the Emirate.
Restaurants and cafes are accessible on foot.
The fastest and easiest way from DXB airport is by taxi (30 minutes). The cheapest way from DXB airport is by metro (1 hour, 7.5 AED per person).
If you rent a car, make sure you get a navigator or use your mobile map app. Dubai intersections are pretty confusing!
