In the clouds

This apartment was very nice, has great amenities and Maria was very responsive. There is everything you need very close by (open air veggie market, carneceria, panaderia, and mini super). A little difficult to find at first but totally worth it. Most adventure activities were a drive but that didn’t bother us.

Perfect for an relaxing stay with an AMAZING viene!

Maria is an amazing host, she was so helpful right when we arrived and she even gave us a tour of her garden, it was really nice. She actually grows a lot of different plants and fruits on the property. The house is perfectly located if you want a relaxing stay, away from the touristic areas. It is a 1h30 ride from San José and the road is fine, it is paved all the way through, although it is in the mountains so there is a lot of curves. The apartment itself is amazing, it is a new construction so everything is modern and there are big windows so you always have an stunning view of the mountains ahead. The sunrise is spectacular from the apartment and the balcony is perfect for a little drink in the afternoon. There is a pool and a big patio area to relax outside while being protected from the sun. There is a Super within a 5 minutes walk and if you need to go to Puriscal (the nearest city), there is a bus that stop almost straight in front of the house and it cost only 280 colones (0,48$ usd). We loved our stay at Maria's place (we stayed there 10 days) and we really recommend it for anyone who needs a break for the touristic areas !
