This a very unique property on five acres in a great location with ample space for our extended family of ten. The house had some interesting spaces including a large windowed sitting room off the master bedroom, a wonderful screened porch, and a large basement rec room with outside access to the back yard. The location near Lone Lake Park and Shady Oak Beach had easy access to downtown and 18 minutes from MSP airport. Property owners communications were excellent.

Very spacious for my family of 11! Beautiful property with visits from wild deer, turkeys, and bunnies.Easy to entertain, many places to dine. Spaces to get away and be by one's self. Walking in the neighborhood was beautiful.Florence was very hospitable and thorough and stayed in communication. My family also agreed. I would definitely return if we vacation in this area again! It is also a great place to get away to without any other plans because the house and neighborhood have enoigh to enjoy and relax in itself!

Family Stay in Hopkins

Our family came out to Minneapolis for a family wedding and stayed in this home for the weekend. It was just great, roomy, well-located and comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful and gracious and worked hard to make sure stay went well. The house fit our needs well and the screened-in porch was just lovely for early morning breakfasts. Everything was easy and just really comfortable.

Amazing home! Enjoyed my stay

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this home! The home is in a really nice neighborhood with a spacious backyard for family activities. We had more than enough room and appreciated the overall comfort. The hostess Florence was extremely helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this home and hope to book it again for my next family gathering!

Family trip

This location was a perfect place for our families to gather and relax while visiting the twin cities to attend events with extended family. There was great space for the children to play and a well equipped kitchen for meals together. The outdoor space is private, spacious and well tended. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trails & recreational areas of Lone Lake Park.

The main disappointment is that the photos on VRBO do NOT match the condition of the house at all. The flooring and furniture in the living/dining room are stained, dirty, and very worn out. Items in the kitchen that were indicated as for our use, were beyond the expiration date. Way beyond. All 6 of the women in our party were disappointed and felt that the conditions had a negative impact on our friends weekend. We have been using VRBO for years and this was our biggest disappointment. We would not recommend this home.
