Perched on a quiet stretch of Vilano Beach coastline, Second Wind is a five-bedroom home where your group of up to 12 can slow down, spread out, and settle in. The Atlantic shore is just a short walk away, and the storied streets of historic downtown St. Augustine are only 6 miles out - close enough to explore, far enough to feel like you've truly gotten away. Sorry, no pets.
 
The outdoors
The private pool anchors an outdoor space built for the long days of a coastal getaway. Pool heat is available upon advance request with an additional fee of $40/day. The surrounding backyard is fully fenced and gives the whole group room to move freely - whether you're firing up the poolside propane BBQ grill for an evening cookout or gathering at the outdoor dining setup for a meal under open sky. When the beach calls, you're well equipped: the included beach essentials (beach towels and chairs) and a haul wagon make the short walk to the water effortless. After a day on the sand, the wraparound balcony is the right place to catch the last light, with ocean and sky views that stretch in every direction.
 
First floor - entertainment & sleeping
The ground floor is centered on a fully loaded game room - a 75" HDTV with Roku, a foosball table, Denon sound system, color-changing LED lighting, a full-size refrigerator, and a selection of board games and toys that work just as well for younger guests as they do for late-night gatherings. Sleeping on this level includes a bunk room with 2 twin-over-full beds and a guest room with 2 double beds, plus a full bathroom. A commercial-grade washer and dryer are also on this floor. Out front, a circular driveway handles up to 4 vehicles comfortably.
 
Second floor - bedrooms & views
Upstairs, the ocean-facing primary suite offers a king memory foam bed, partial sea views, and its own private balcony - a calm corner for morning coffee before the day picks up. A second king suite looks toward Castle Ott, while the queen bedroom overlooks a peaceful nature preserve. Every room is outfitted with generous closet space and a flat-screen TV.
 
Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is ready for a crowd. Stainless steel appliances include an electric stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, along with all the cookware and dishes your group needs. Pull everyone together at the formal dining table inside or take the meal outside to the poolside dining area.
 
Staying connected
High-speed mesh Wi-Fi covers the entire home and supports multiple devices at once - dependable for video calls, streaming, gaming, or working remotely throughout your stay.
 
The neighborhood
Vilano Beach sits on a quiet, uncrowded stretch of coastline with easy proximity to the Vilano Pier and Intracoastal Waterway views, plus local dining nearby. Historic downtown St. Augustine - America's oldest city - is just 6 miles away, putting world-class restaurants, museums, and landmarks well within reach.

Iron, hangers, and clothing storage available throughout. Smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit on-site.
