Hi Walter. We strive to provide our guests with an excellent rental experience and appreciate you sharing your feedback with us. We reviewed the correspondence and listened to the calls attached to your reservation, and see our team did our best to provide exemplary customer service - assisting you in locating the home, providing you with an early check-in, assisting you in getting into the home, and informing you that we would let you know once we heard from Spectrum if cable services were back up. Unfortunately, we cannot control gale storms and could not offer a home move as power was out in all the homes in the area, and Spectrum was experiencing cable outages due to the weather. Regarding not feeling safe or comfortable - we are very sad and disappointed to hear this, as we pride ourselves in being a friendly and welcoming community. Had we been notified of any incident occurring on the property - which we can control - we would have promptly sent over our security, or contacted the police. Unfortunately, you contacted us after checking-out early, so we were not able to contact our management team to see if there was something we could do to work with you to salvage your trip. We also see you have since filed a chargeback with your bank. When a chargeback is filed, we are not able to take action as it is now up to the bank to determine an outcome. We are sorry you encountered several issues that negatively impacted your stay at Rockaway Beach, but do hope you were able to enjoy the rest of your vacation in Portland.
