The Space:
Welcome to Cabins in the Clouds!

This beautiful land features five private cabins, this listing is for Cabin 1 (Scenic Solitude Cabin). On the property, you will find a fire pit, privacy, a covered gazebo with seating, a private dock, and a small vernal pond with varying water levels dependent on the season. You will find adventure, local attractions, and a peaceful environment all right outside of your cabin porch!

Once inside Scenic Solitude Cabin you will find comfort, fun, and relaxation for everyone! Through the front doors, you will find a cozy great room featuring a smart TV and fireplace, perfect for movie nights with your entire group. Kick back and unwind on the plush sofa, recliner, or rocking chair while flipping through the pages of a new read. In the mornings, sip your first cup of joe at the lovely dining area, or relax on the cabin's large front porch while basking in nature views. In the fully equipped kitchen prepare your group's favorite recipes with all the necessary appliances. All the comforts of home are offered here, including complimentary wireless Internet access, a DVD player, and a private washer/dryer. Right outside of your front door, you will find a large porch facing the peaceful wooded views.

As a hosting family, we strongly believe in making memories wherever you are. That is why we have provided local suggestions so you can enjoy the experience of fully immersing yourself in the local culture. Unique stays

Very nice place to stay! Very well kept! The only thing we had a hard time with was finding it at night time. We loved the location though. The views off the mountains were amazing.

Very deceiving

Not impressed at all. We first arrived at the cabin it had a mold smell. It was from a leaky pipe in the kitchen , they had a pot with water under the sink that had green water in it. I complained and they fixed it. The grilling and fire pit area was a fire hazard. The seat was a rotted log, you couldn’t sit at all. The grand kids wanted to do s’mores I was so disappointed. The lake or pond had enough water for mosquitoes. We brought fishing poles but no fish or water maybe 3 gallons of water if that. It definitely did not have a great view. I have rented a lot of cabins but this one was not what it looked like on the website. After we rented the place we get a notice of rules, no drinking or parties and if they find a beer bottle in the trash you will be fined. First off I am not a drinker but I am 50 something years old and if I want to drink a beer or wine I will. Vacations are to have fun . If you want to have fun around the cabin don’t rent this one.

Wonderful Stay

We absolutely loved our experience here. The cabin was exactly like the photos online. We used the Fire Pit area for S’mores . Would love to see that part of the property shown some TLC. It is a great space, just needs the seating area to be improved. We encountered two very minor issues, and they were resolved immediately. Nothing major just two questions. Everyone in our group ranging from 17 to 42 thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The gazebo with swing, the nice front porch and the gravel area to do morning walks in we’re fabulous. Right down the road there is a pull off with wonderful views of the Sunset at night. It was a short drive into town for all the activities . Short drive to Trenton for Dollar store , Groceries , etc. Looking forward to coming back one day!
