Very approachable friendly host, great surroundings, excellent for kids to keep busy and entertained. Plenty of space and privacy. We weren't aware that we had to bring all our own consumables (e.g. hand soap, toilet paper etc), but the host was very helpful. The place would benefit from a thorough clean, but it suited us fine. A home away from home.
This is a wee seceret paradise... home away from home... the scenery is to die for... the farm animals are friendly and the cutest! And the helicopters for the kids to play on is abonus!!! And the owners are the lovliest, so helpful.... hope to be back again sometime!
Large house on a quiet rural plot.
Friendly animals around the place and nice places to walk around the property.
Nice and warm with two heat pumps and a fire.
Only downside was the bed in the main bedroom has a bit of roll together and the furniture in the kitchen dining is quiet tired.

Nice spot, could be cleaner
Lovely location. Fun for kids with animals close by. Not overly clean. Mould on curtains and filthy windows.

Incredible Location and Outlook
Property is situated in an incredible location being only a 5 min drive to the St Arnaud township. Plenty of space and entertainment for the kids with farm animals to the helicopters to play in out the back. We didn’t end up using the sleep-out (5th bedroom) as this would be best suited to summer however there was plenty of room in the living room of the house to fit everyone in.
This property is in a great location and is spacious enough for a large family gathering. It was easy to keep warm in the icy weather with the two heat pumps and lovely fire. The kids loved the pigs, free range chickens and exploring the helicopter. The bathroom was large and having two toilets was a must for our large group.
The only disappointment was the cleanliness of the house when we arrived. It took us a while to make space in the fridge for our food and thoroughly clean the kitchen and bathroom. A lot of the bedding had seen better days and so we would recommend bringing your own if you were at all particular. The beds themselves were comfortable. All in all we had a great time and it met the needs of our large group.
