About this property

Incredible Pagosa: Cozy, Rustic Cabin Sleeps 6, Historic Downtown

This place is a gem. It's a d-log structure that was both a bookstore and coffee shop in it's past life. We have remodeled it back into a two bedroom home with a loft, sleeping a total of six. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a futon in the loft area with a full sized 10" foam mattress that very comfortably sleeps two more. Upstairs you will also find an office nook with a desk. WI-FI is on site.

The kitchen features a gas range, dishwasher and all of the dishes and cookware you will need to feed your crew. We keep basic oils and spices on hand so that you don't have to buy a cart full of staples in order to cook delicious meals. There is also a gas grill available for you to use.

The living room is cozy and very relaxing with a leather sectional, the most comfortable rocking chair that you will ever sit in and a roku tv. The bathroom features a shower stall and a barn wood vanity with a vessel sink.

I really liked this cozy little cabin. It was a great location and almost perfect. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because of the sofa in the little living room area. It is super worn, cracking and even taped in one spot. Was not comfortable to sit in the living room at all. Other than that, the rest of the cabin was fantastic. I wouldn't be sitting int he living room much, but the sofa really needs to be upgraded.

Wonderful, clean property and stay. Exactly as described. We noticed two solar lights near the patio-they were not working. We arrived after dark, there were no streetlights, and it was snowy/icy. It was sooooo dark you couldn't even see the property from the road, we had to get out of the car and walk the block to see it. Super icy and scary, it would have been really nice to have the patio light left on to help us negotiate the icy, unfamiliar stairs, and would have made seeing the key box so much more navigable and safer.

It was an awesome house that has literally everything you need . The host was incredible and even set up a kennel for my dog which came in so handy . Nice front porch with Mountain View’s. It was in walking distance of everything .

The host was friendly. We enjoyed this home. It was pretty small and warm which was perfect for us. The stairs were steep and there is no bathroom upstairs. The floors were clean. The shower was nice and stayed warm when it was 7 outside. We were able to use the washing machine once but after our first day, the temperature dropped to around 7 and we couldn't use the washing machine the rest of our stay due to weird noises. We think it was the weather causing issues with the water but we can't be sure because when we left it was still well before freezing. The Internet was fast. I LOVE gas stoves. We had to shovel the snow off the deck and a path to our vehicle. Personally I thought it was fun. We would stay here again! Great location and charming little house.

From the rental we were able to walk to several shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Easy to get to and centrally located. Some highlights were Wild Finch restaurant and Root House for coffee/quick breakfast with the dogs. We enjoyed ourselves.
