The Down By The Bay House is a newly renovated cottage that offers all the modern amenities of the city with a picturesque marina setting.

Nestled in cottage country, in the Rideau Lakes Township, we are 3 hours from Toronto, 1.5 hours from Ottawa and 30 minutes from Kingston.

Direct access to Murphy's Bay awaits you at our waterfront property. Enjoy views of the lake from the comfort of the backyard or relax by the water where you can enjoy boating, swimming and so much more.

Our trip

The cottage was exactly as shown and had just about all the necessities needed. I brought so much stuff i didnt need to bring because it was all there. Only down side was the guy at garage drop off was terrible person

A pleasant few days away

All was very good. A nice clean quiet place, just not a location to go walking around easily, as right of the road, and no shoulder to walk safely.

Friends weekend

We were very pleased with the cottage and property. The only issue we had was there was no swimming involved and was not informed about the water situation. You definitely cannot swim where the weeds come right to the top. Even out in the middle of the lake. We were also abit shocked at the fact that we had to discard our own garbage and take the beds apart and do the laundry. But other than these few things we had an amazing time.
