Northwoods Wisconsin Retreat!! Newly built cabin sleeps 12 comfortably.

Northwood's home in Washburn County, WI. Great for snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, snowshoeing, skiing, biking, canoeing, and much more. This home would also be a great retreat for book clubs and quilters to gather at. Great Location: 1/2 hour from Hayward, 1.25 hours from Duluth, MN, 1/2 hour from Spooner, WI. This cabin was built less than 5 years ago. The snowmobiling trails/atv trails run on the property. The scenic Namekagon River is less than 2 miles from the doorstep. We will rent this for the American Birkebeiner or to snowmobilers or to anyone just wanting to get away to the Northwood's for a quiet weekend retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The hosts did a great job communicating before our visit and the home was 100% ready for our stay. The home is located right next to the snowmobile trail, which is a requirement for us on these winter trips. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Cabin

Location is perfect for canoeing on the Namekogan, we tented out in the yard and had a fire each night. Plenty of room for families and friends inside and a great deck.

Golf Trip

It was a dream of David's to build on the land that his father had purchased back in the 1940's. There was and old building on the property that they all called the "deer shack!" The shack was falling down and could hardly be used by the hunters. "It was really bad when a bunch of Wisconsin hunters had a hard time staying there." So David and I (Carolyn) decided to build a new home on the property. It is our dream to rent it so that other people can enjoy the north woods of Wisconsin! We welcome visitors for a relaxing stay at our north woods retreat!!
