Fully renovated heritage home built in 1827 along the UNESCO designated Rideau Canal. Accommodates 10 adults in five bedrooms with room for an additional 4 children. Heritage Stables is just down the road, where you can book a variety of farm experiences. Kayak up to Merrickville for lunch, or sit on our large deck and watch the boats pass by. If you are bringing a pet you must add that information to your reservation. A $25 fee per stay will be automatically added to the cost of your stay.

The space The main floor includes a large family room with a TV, coat closet, full bathroom, 2 bedrooms, open kitchen and dining room. The 2nd bedroom can be converted to an open space or 2nd living room to host larger gatherings and events. The second floor includes 3 bedrooms, a full bathroom, a reading nook, a laundry room and access to the large 2nd floor deck.
Guest access The entire house and 4 acres property are all yours. There are no neighbors on either side or across the street. Access to the Rideau Canal is a short walk down a path to Clowes Locks. Our farm, Heritage Stables, is a short 3 minute walk away.

Turn off the lights and return the keys
If your up for it, feel free to strip the beds and place in laundry room but please leave comforters in their rooms.
If you’re up for it, please empty the small bins into the kitchen garbage. That bag can go in one of the brown bins outside—just make sure to lock the lid, as raccoons can be sneaky.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
For any gatherings or events over 12 people must be pre approved in writing by the host and additional fees will apply.
Pets are allowed but please keep to the main floor and off the furniture. Additional cleaning fee of $25 for pets.
No driving or parking on front or side lawn area. Our septic tank and weeping field are located here.
