Driving west from Canmore, you will enter the Banff national park within 10 mins. Following highway #1, you will find Banff town: to the north is the famous Two Jack lake and Lake Minnewanka; to the south is Banff downtown, Sulphur mountain Gondola, and Upper Hot springs. It is highly recommended to hike to the peak of Sulphur mountain, there is boardwalk trails at the peak. You can also take Gondola to reach the peak. After the hiking, you can relax yourself in Upper Hot Springs.
Driving past Banff, you can visit Johnson Canyon follow the 1A (Bow valley trail).
