Amazing!
This is a fantastic house in a great location. Very close to Burntcoat Head Park and to two locations to view the tidal bore. Walking around Burntcoat Head at low tide was the highlight of our three week trip. Moira has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. She has a suggestion box, which is a great idea, but we had no suggestions; couldn't think of any way to make it better!

About the host

Host profile image
We are a second-generation family farm, growing organic vegetables and herbs the past 30 years for local families and the culinary scene in Halifax. For many years the farmhouse housed farmworkers and farming interns, but the past five years we have shifted to employing local people, leaving half our home vacant. We hope you will enjoy the pleasant, functional space we've created for visitors, designed with larger groups in mind to use as home base as they visit Halifax, the Annapolis Valley, Kejimkujik park, the South Shore, the Bay of Fundy and southern New Brunswick.

Why they chose this property

Feel free to enjoy the lawns around the farmhouse and greenhouses. You may bump into our cats, our kids, the dog Hali, and farm workers. Everyone is friendly, though Hali can be loud about welcoming you.

You are also welcome to walk around Four Seasons Farm to explore what we grow, but please stay on mowed pathways.

Bike storage upon request in greenhouses.

What makes this property unique

We've got a great kitchen that we want people to use, and we can supply your very local seasonal vegetables and herbs!
