Hi Jim, we value providing an excellent experience for our guests, and we would like to share some insights from the homeowner:-We regret any inconvenience caused by the internet and train noise experienced by the guests. Situated in unincorporated Douglas County, the property provides abundant parking and privacy in its rural setting. However, the rural nature also means there are limited options for internet providers, with none offering fiber/directly wired services. Consequently, the only available option for internet access is through a wireless signal via a satellite dish. It's important to note that adverse weather conditions, such as heavy rain, snow, and fog, can impede the wireless signal, causing disruptions or blockages that may not be widely known. Regrettably, the guest encountered poor internet service during their stay due to adverse weather conditions, specifically snow. Unfortunately, at this time, we have not identified alternative options to address this challenge.-Regarding the trains, Castle Rock has a rich history with trains, and their presence is a notable aspect of the town. Train tracks run on both the East and West sides of I-25, and their sounds are prevalent in most neighborhoods in the city. We acknowledge that the proximity of the home to I-25 and downtown Castle Rock brings it closer to train tracks. To enhance transparency, we will update our listing to ensure guests are fully aware of the potential train noise in the area. Our commitment to all our guests is to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests as evidenced in all other reviews.
We absolutely loved this home! The location is so peaceful and private, yet so convenient to I-25. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, with all the comforts of home. This home has everything you could possibly need. We loved seeing deer in the yard and lots of bunnies. We also enjoyed seeing the beautiful cows when they came close to the backyard. We will definitely be visiting Colorado again, and will definitely stay here again!
Spent 3 nights at this property for a Family Wedding. I don't write reviews, but everything about the property and the communication with the property owners was exceptional. The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked and in a very quiet neighborhood. In addition, The home was within 5 minutes of downtown Castle Rock. The only thing that I would say needs to improve is the quality of the mattresses and the pillows. My Family would stay here again.Thank you.
