The Monroe | Historic Victorian Inn Room

Step back in time by reserving a Victorian room within the Historic Stone House Inn, an original wayside inn on the National Road that began operations in 1822. It's the perfect place to rest and get away while enjoying the Ohiopyle area. Located in the rear of the 2nd floor with a private bath. The room has a beautiful queen size high pencil post bed, flat screen cable television, lovely red floral wallpaper, and a beautiful French armoire. The room temperature is managed by the restaurant downstairs. Due to the age of the building, the Victorian rooms do not have individual controls. We appreciate your understanding.

Historic (Old) Inn

The place is interesting, but it’s old. I’m sure it was once lovely when horse drawn carriages were the thing. Now there’s a highway with trucks and cars wizzing down a mountain at speeds well over 55, and you’ll hear every one of them all night long!
