We enjoyed the room and the restaurant (and bar!).The room was spacious for my needs: two connected bedrooms. The bathroom was updated and clean! The bedrooms were upstairs from there, which means they were on the third floor. It could have been hot, but there was ample air conditioning.Drinks are the bar were above average! The bartender was amazing. Helpful and friendly! She also became our waitress, when we ordered dinner.Dinner a level above! It seemed like no time at all before we were served. The spaggheti and meetballs were great! I had the 16 oz. Ribeye. Terrific! And the portions were more than generous.I will definitely come back!
We stayed in the Steward Suite and had ample room for a family of four. Several dinning options both at the property and nearby. The room was very quiet and beds very comfortable!
Just as described..quaint, charming historic tavern/restaurant along National road. We arrived in time to catch a last serving on a Sunday evening. Food was delicious—Service was terrific! Our check in could not be smoother-used electronic—and hostess was as welcoming as can be ! The floor plan was unique yet easy to follow—the complimentary cafe/bistro hallway was ideal for hot/cold soft beverages andnicely supplied quick b’fast to go in the am. Only issue would be if you have problem with stairs; it is historically accurate in the rooms we chose—-plan accordingly.
Hidden gem in the mountains! Couldn’t ask for better accommodations and the staff was top notch. Everyone was so friendly and we were treated like VIP’s the entire stay. Particularly our server Blaine, he went above and beyond and made us feel like friends! We look forward to our next stay here.

Check restaurant hours first
Overall nice old renovated Inn, but on an extremely busy historic cross country highway and the semi traffic is loud. The stair up to the bedrooms is very narrow and the bathroom was on a floor below the bedrooms. Make sure you check the hours of the restaurant downstairs because it was closed at 8pm when we arrived and not open at all the next day so the “included” breakfast was prepackaged mini muffins and Keurig.
Got away for a long weekend to rest and hike the Ohiopyle State park along with the surrounding area. We wanted a separate sitting are from sleeping so my wife could sleep in……exactly what we got. The inn was set up with keyless codes for entry making check in and out easy. Very clean and convenient. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and even got a snack the one night. Very delicious and friendly. More than a hotel, but not the extra fees of a VRBO. Would return to try another season in Ohiopyle.
