Kathy was a perfect guest. She was a quiet, independent, charming lady who took great care of our guest unit and left it in immaculate condition. I highly recommend Kathy to other hosts.
Was lovely, clean and comfortable. Very good location. Easy to get to airport, the city and close to the sporting ovals we needed to drive to. The food supplies provided by the host was appreciated, especially as we arrived very late at night.

A beautiful comfortable contemporary atmosphere, private, yet the host is available as needed. Well appointed with more than one could ask. Complimentary food items were well appreciated by travellers unacquainted with the area. Ann was very good to deal with.
The property is in a perfect location, so close to Chermside, the Airport & the city & not too far from the northern suburbs & the Sunshine Coast. The unit itself is spacious, peaceful & quiet. The beds are very comfortable & all the inclusions such as the appliances & linen etc are top quality. There was everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay.Our hosts, Ann & Barry are such lovely people. While they live upstairs, we rarely crossed paths & when we did, we had lovely chats. They allowed us our privacy & were so easy to communicate with & accommodating if we had any questions.We stayed for a month & would easily stay here again for our next winter escape from Canberra! We highly recommend a stay at this property in Wavell Heights.

I am originally from Wales and have lived in Australia for over 50 years. I worked as a Primary School teacher for over 50 years. Now that I am retired I enjoy being a VRBO host and it gives me an interest outside of the usual. I like interacting with new people from all over the World and Australia. I am always aware of people's need for rest and privacy and always do my best to provide this. Being a host gives me a manageable interest and outlet I really enjoy.
Why they chose this property
I enjoy living in Wavell Heights because of the elevated views, quiet suburban atmosphere, easy access to the city and to both the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast Highways.
What makes this property unique
Our property is dual level. The VRBO accommodation is completely private from the rest of the house and there is no shared access aside from the front door to the house. There is a kitchenette downstairs. Our VRBO accommodation opens out onto the fully fenced in-ground pool. We have many facilities itemised elsewhere - including a laundry. There is ample room for guests to park their vehicle on the street. This is never a problem.
