Enjoy privacy and comfort in this updated two-bedroom home within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops, the Nestucca River, and the beach! Crownover Cottage’s large, open living room has plush carpeting, contemporary furnishings, and plenty of seating, plus a TV with cable. The dining area in the fully equipped kitchen gives you the option of eating in, though you’re close to some of Pacific City’s favorite restaurants, Los Caporales for Mexican, the Beach Walk for Asian fusion, and the Sportsman Pub n’ Grub for pizza and seafood. Two bedrooms, a queen and a full, make this a great spot for a small family to experience the fun of Pacific City. You can walk across the bridge to the top of a dune for spectacular views of the ocean and incredible Haystack Rock. Walk north to Cape Kiwanda to watch surfers, check out the tidepools or climb a dune; when you’re tired and thirsty, the Pelican Pub is right there for lunch and award-winning brews. Walk south to Bob Straub State Park and the natural beauty of the beach all the way to the mouth of the Nestucca. Crownover Cottage gives you a convenient, private, and easy way to enjoy time at the beach!

Was not what we had hoped for

Overall the stay was awesome being on the Oregon coast. Here are the negatives,Our check I was 3 hrs late. We were told unforeseen troubles so we went to find an eatery to kill time. We were assured the crew was cleaning and it would be ready in 3 hrs. This did happen however the floors were still unswept and out bedding and blankets were in a pile on the laundry room floor. We had driven all day and were exhausted. My wife had to finish the laundry/bedding and then make our bed. The stove burners didn’t work correctly and it was hard to even get water to boil. Our stay was 8 days and there was only one garbage bag which got filled quickly. We had to purchase garbage bags, paper towels, and toilet paper along with dish washing liquid.I will say Tracy was responsive overall and did her best. But sometimes things are beyond being made right from a remote location. She did however credit us back 100 dollars. Considering what we paid I feel for the inconveniences it could have been more however it was appreciated. Again the overall trip was awesome but would choose a different property if visiting Pacific City again.
